As much as I loved the color, cut and size of the mauve zircon---it just didn't speak to me. That being said, I think it will be a gorgeous piece for someone, especially set in rose gold

So, the Zircon is on it's way back and a purple sapphire is on its way---it just sings to me, planning on setting it E-W with shield cut sides. This project will be on the back burner for a little while-since I'm awaiting my antiquey cushion ring project (I need to be good to my $$$ tree)!!!

Agreed. That sapphire is a real winner. I simply love the purple color to it...and the cut goes without mentioning!! The diamond is a Knock-out too! Love the cross cut in the middle!!
