New OEC''s?

Is there someone who cuts OEC's (i.e. brand new stones). Has anyone heard of this? Thanks.

not in any volume.

If someone wanted to start I have a design that makes them a match for ags0 RBs with broadflash fire and better whole crown brightness.
The table brightness will always be less due to the lgf% and contrast.
The would cost as much if not more than ags0s do now for the same diameter.

Strm, seeing as there is a tonne of popularity around these older cuts at the moment, do you think there''s any chance someone will cut them? (just in your opinion).

Is it something you could ever custom request?

Personally, I love the history and everything that goes with the originals - but if you could have OEC''s to order, I would not say no!

Right now there is about 0 chance anyone will cut them and offer them.
In the future who knows once things pick up maybe someone, someplace will be interested in serving niche markets.

There is such a huge demand at the moment (at least round here), imho it seems like a good thing for Infinity or GOG to look into, for example..
Ah well, one can dream right!

I think the key to that sentence is **around here**. PS is a very very small microcosm in the world of diamonds.

I asked Singlestone that when I was there last month. She said yes. You would likely have to go through them if you wanted a new oec. Are you having trouble finding one?
