Have you contacted Ari @ Singlestone? I know he does hand made custom, but he mentioned that he also has less expensive cast rings. Perhaps he can suggest some styles in your price range?

Great idea, ericad. I''ll email Ari and hopefully he''ll have something in my budget! I love the workmanship of your ring and the delicate filigree... Ari has such a great eye for detail.

So what kind of setting are you thinking of now? ETA -- Just saw the setting you posted, its beautiful! Something along those lines would be perfect IMO.

Thanks poshpepper! I like tapered settings.. they make my stubby fingers look longer IMHO
