Very nice rings! Cartier has a squared off one like this. I noticed the price increases on Sunday. At least I hope they don''t raise them again for awhile.

Beautiful rings! They look great together.

And just a few fun shots of my cushion. Here''s one in honor of my graduating law school...bonus points if you can name the class this book is from!
Calamari & Perillo - that can only be Contract!!!

All your rings are just stunning scarlet. Beautiful choices!!!

Just a few quick replies before the first day of my bar review classes...

Thanks Motownmama, thing2, Diamond*dana, Gemma12, Snooper, Ms.Dreamy, jewlerman, chiquitapet, and bee*

Deelight - I promise I'll try to get those pix this afternoon. Thanks for the compliment but really it's b/c I had beautiful subjects; I'm actually not that great of a photographer!

Imdanny - I think the Cartier one you're talking about is the Ballerine band. It was actually a touch too low next to my band but it was beautiful as well (and also about $500 more).

Delster - Nice pick up on the names! Perillo was actually a professor at my school for decades (and my Contracts' professor was his protege apparently). Are you excited for your trip?

I wouldn''t know the US case law on contracts but I am familiar with the big texts! Over here we study most of the big common law jurisdictions - you''d get in trouble if you wrote an exam and only made reference to Irish law. We''re such a small jurisdiction we need to look elsewhere for precedents that can assist us...

I can''t wait for our trip, you''re so good to remember! We have most of the details finalised now, and I''m ridiculously excited

Just have to make sure to write 30,000 words on non-justiciability before I leave

Delster-that sounds miserable! I start my bar review course today, starting with criminal law & procedure for 2 days...which I have absolutely NO interest in! I feel your pain, girlie!!! Maybe we can try to set up a PS get-together when you''re in NYC...there are quite a few of us around!

Ha ha, sadly, I''m not actually all that miserable about it! I must be such a geek

I actually love criminal law and procedure, that''s easily about my favourite subject

But I also know myself well enough to know that the practice of it would be too harsh for me.

Scarlet,
Beautiful rings! Have fun today.

I love your rings!

OOOOh

I didn't know there was a new plain Novo band.

Love his Lucida too by the way.

I also love your cushion e-ring as well!

Congrats on the graduation & the new rings!

Harriet - That was GRUELING!!! Yesterday was fun...let's do it again soon. Maybe lunch at Jean Georges after class one day.

Thanks mom2twogirls, kris, skippy, mela lu, idreamofice, mmmd, dreamgirl!

Here are the requested hand shots that I snuck. Unfortunately, it's super yucky out today so the photos stink...and the stone is definitely not yellow. My halogen stinks and my bathroom has yellow accessories!

I thought I would hate the gap but I really like that you can tell the wedding ring from the e-ring.

Exactly the same height!

Just a touch different in size.

yay! looks fantastic!!!
btw, do you know if tiffany has this band in rose gold too? I know that they don''t have the lucida 2mm in rose - but as there are novo stacking bands in rose there might be a chance that they offer a rose gold plain band as well...

I looove your Leon; never tire of seeing more pictures! The novo band looks like a really nice fit for a wedding band. Any reason you chose not to go for the more matchy diamond band look? I actually really like that my ering and wring are clearly separate too. I like the gap

It was great fun, in spite of Tiffany. Jean Georges sounds perfect.

Ms.Dreamy - I think it only comes in platinum, but it appears they''re rolling out new stuff so maybe they will come out w/ a rose gold one.

icekid - Thanks! I actually chose the plain for a few reasons. 1) I wanted it to somewhat match my soon-to-be hubby''s ring so while his is a lucida, they are both still plain platinum bands and we''ll have them engraved the same way, 2) for either my birthday or maybe or 1st anniv. I''ll get the matching diamond band to go on the other side of the wedding band. Eventually, I''d like 2 matching diamond bands to stack with the wedding band for days I don''t want to wear my e-ring, and 3) I want my wedding band to be my "forever" wedding band so in case I change my e-ring setting down the line, the plain platinum is still versatile enough. The "distinct" look of the two bands was an added bonus.

Mrssalvo Thanks! DYING to see your set...when''s it expected?

Harriet - Maybe next week sometime?

Very pretty!

Haha, all I needed to see was Lucy v. Zehmer...or, as my prof called it, "the don''t drink and contract case"
