Congrats on graduating--I just graduated this past May as well. My favorite quote from Lucy v. Zehmer: "high as a Georgia pine." On my first year contracts test, we got an extra point for remembering to incorporate that line into our exam answers, along with "three heifers" and "great balls of fire" from some other cases I now can''t remember. I had an awesome contracts professor, but the subject is now coming back to haunt me on the MBE =(.

Skippy - the pictures were actually taken with our older Sony (which is amazing with photos but the camera itself has been a little glitchy lately). I think we decided just to keep this one for the honeymoon since the photos are still fine!

YAY! I actually logged in again after a few months of lurking to say how PERFECT i think this band is with your gorgeous ring. I LOVE IT! I really really love the look of a beautiful shiny plain band.

I''m pretty sure that I''ll be getting the Tacori 2620 (same as Gummybears and Mom2twogirls), and I really want a plain "forever" band.... and I think this might be the one! It''s a little higher than it is wide, right? I think the dimensions might work. I can''t wait to go visit it in the Tiff''s store. Anyway, thanks for posting it, and enjoy the GORGEOUSNESS!!!

Imdanny - I think the Cartier one you''re talking about is the Ballerine band. It was actually a touch too low next to my band but it was beautiful as well (and also about $500 more).

I knew the Cartier ones were more but that''s just silly.

Your set is lovely and I think that the band matches the ering perfectly. Is there a difference between your band and a 2mm Lucida band? (sorry if this is a silly question, I was just wondering)
