New setting help Platinum

Hi everyone!
So I posted a topic about nickel allergy. I currently have princess cut 1 carat white gold setting. I have been suffering with a rash for 2 years it is getting worse. I have tried everything while I was pregnant I had to take my rings off and the rash went away I want to look into getting a new setting in platinum any advice where to start I love major bling on a budget My band is eternity stlye I have not even approached the issue with my hubby yet

I know what you mean. I had to get rid of my white gold jewelry as well and move to platinum. Actually I love the patina of platinum now. You could sell your current ring and then start fresh. Or, if you love it, have it recreated in platinum. There are a number of respected vendors here on PriceScope. What direction are you thinking of going?

I have to feel my husband out first make sure he wouldn't be hurt if I sold it and started over. I'm so bummed but if I kept center stone and put in another setting and might have to sell band idk.

Most of us just email or call since the vendors are generally online. You should most likely email so you can send pics and then call if you don't hear back within 48 hours at max. That's my general personal rule of thumb. You may need to give more time if you email on a Friday or over the weekend as most are closed on Saturdays at least and this Sunday is Purim. Good luck!
