Newer xBox 360 games

Hi,

I'm looking for some guidance on xBox360 games. What's a recent and good game that came out. I need to supply a Christmas present for a Dirty Santa/White Elephant exchange and figure xBox games would be a good bet. Under $50 would be great.

i assume since this is dirty santa you don't know who will be getting it whether it will go to a guy or gal, etc.

so, trying to think of xbox game that both DH & i like...hmmm.

just dance II is really fun. great for a party, fun for all ages.

i like any of the lego games (indiana jones, star wars, harry potter) & DH plays them w/me.

he recently played fallout: new vegas & loved it (i played to but he had to help me; it's beyond my video game skill level )

Mostly RPGs, but:

-- Dragon Age (Origins or Awakening, although the first one is better)
-- Mass Effect 2
-- Red Dead Redemption
-- Alan Wake

Not promising you'll be able to find them for under $50, but with all the holiday sales and specials going on, it shouldn't be that hard.

Either Call of Duty Black Ops, or Halo Reach. DH is obsessed with both! I think both would be great options for a guy, but if you're looking for something gender neutral or family friendly, I'll have to think a bit.

eta: The new Forza game got fantastic reviews, though I haven't tried it yet. It's car racing, so maybe a little more family friendly. Also, Red Dead Redemption is not totally new, but amazing. It's kind of a do-whatever-you-want sandbox type game, set in the wild west. One of my favorite games of all time (though it has shooting and wouldn't be ok for a family)
