She''s such a beautiful grown-up kitty - I can''t believe how long and elegant-looking she is

She still sounds like a trouble-maker though...how old is she? I feel like all of ours were like that until they hit the 2-year mark and then they start to mellow...

She turned 1 at the end of June. I remember when we adopted her in front of WalMart just last August. LOL She''s a stinker for sure.

I would looove to have another kitty, but we can''t in this house.

My little Gretchen (the calico) used to be the stinker to end all stinkers. She was smart enough to know when she''d been caught, but also smart enough to know when she was fast enough to get away. Like the time my DH (FI at the time) caught her rummaging in the trash barrel for who-knows-what - he yelled, she looked up at him with a calculating expression, dived back down into the trash barrel, grabbed what she was after, and took off and hid under the bed just out of reach

I am currently trying to teach Holly how to shake hands. She will sit on command but the shaking paws thing is taking a little time. However, she has started flinging herself on and hanging from doorknobs to try and open closed doors. She''s a total smartypants PITA. Gotta love that.

OMG what a sweetheart! What a long stretch, and a tummy full of fluffy bunny fur. I love my kitties tummy fur, but for the most part they don''t like belly rubs

At least they let me rub the fur below the neck in front, it''s pretty fluffy, too.

LOL - would you believe it, he''s actually ASLEEP in that photo! That is his preferred sleeping position - silly guy!

He''s generally OK with having his tummy rubbed briefly - anything more than 10 seconds and he gets annoyed. That''s still enough time to get a big smooshy kiss on his furry belly! Best thing ever!
