I''ve got a TON of wedding stuff to get out of my house and including two wedding dresses (not including the one I wore). The only thing I think I''m going to keep is my head piece and veil... probably my dress too (maybe). I listed my Regina B earrings (paid WAY too much for those to not try to recoup)... but the rest, I''m just not in the mood to deal with auctioning.

What are you guys doing with you left over wedding stuff... and where in Northern California can I unload it all and make it someone else''s problem?

So I''m in the same boat. I think we talked before about setting up some sort of bridal yard sale type thing? It would be cool to do something! Unless someone else has a suggestion on where I can unload stuff too.

I tried craigslist and the knot before xmas. I got lots of interested people but only one buyer. They bought my votives and candles and they were local. I had people wanting me to ship that stuff across the country. It was so heavy it would have cost them more in shipping then worth it! All in all though it seemed that before xmas people were hesitant to buy this type of wedding stuff. I hope moving towards the spring/summer we can sell some of it.

I also have 80 gold chargers. I got them at Macy''s. Shipping that across country seems like a pain as well so it would be great to have some somewhat local buyers to take them off my hands. These are items I KNOW people are going to want to use too! I also have my chandeliers as well as all of those awesome silver teapots and other silver items we used for flowers... and I''m sure there''s more stored away.

Anyways YES help!

I''m on board with a yard sale V. It''s a good idea. Wonder if anyone else would join us.

Maybe we can ''advertise'' somewhere that we''re looking for more ladies that have stuff to sell (anyone on here?!) and then have a GTG where we plan it. We could work out a place where we could meet and do it. Either in the ''burbs or in SF. I have a friend that lives in Noe Valley for example that might be willing to host.

What do you think?

Violet02,

This is just awesome!! Awhile back, I saved some centerpieces pictures that was posted on PS as inspiration pictures. We met up with some florist last weekend and after we go through all the inspiration pictures, my FI and I really like one of it - the one with silver teapot and I couldn''t recall where I got that picture from (as I saved a ton from web surfing as well)!!!

Then I saw this thread today and went back to look at your wedding pictures and saw that the one we love most is yours!!!!!!! I do need some silver teapot/vase (low kind as it''ll be on a lazy susan). I would love to come by the yard sale that you and Gypsy are going to put together! I am way way behind my wedding planning (5 mths to go and only reception and photographer fixed). I still need a florist, a cake and a gown... and maybe others that I have missed out.

By the way, who''s your florist? Those flowers with some feathers are TDF!! Thanks!!
