Now I really did it :((

@missy sending warm wishes for your mom and dad today. I pray he is able to stay home with mom.

@MamaBee just saw that you’re heading to the ER. I am so relieved you are going. Good luck and be well.

Hi @mrs-b and @canuk-gal sorry about your snow!! We had rain all day thank goodness. Hi to @marcy !!

Work is so trying this year, I spend my weekends and evenings just recovering (I feel like Goldie Hawn in Overboard).

IMG_1498.gif

This is my favorite landmark in Brooklyn @missy. Love this stained glass water tower so much!

Happy Sunday all!

You're better looking than Goldie.

And Tim worked on Water St and Wall St (he had 2 offices) for 13 years. How did we never see this?! It's gorgeous!

@mrs-b This is on the BQE in Brooklyn Heights. DD used to live a block or two away. I must have 25 pics of this tower in my phone. The artist, Tom Fruin, has done quite a lot of stained glass art. I follow him on IG. I used to make stained glass pieces with my mom. I still have our pieces. ❤️
Hope you are well @mrs-b
Here’s his IG page. :)
And another pic I have saved…

PS thank you for the compliment. Goldie is pretty cute though. But that’s how I feel when I come home. I even took a nap yesterday. I never take a nap!

I'm glad they are trying to find out what the problem is @MamaBee -- what you are experiencing is not sustainable for a long period of time

+ a billion. With your unresolved symptoms it is the least they can do. And they will hydrate you with IV as you hypovolemic. Hope they can suggest some eating options for you.....

So..The abdominal CT scan came back normal but the doctor said something is definitely going on. He said I need to get an abdominal MRI and an endoscopy. I will have to get that set up myself. I have very low pulse and large differences in BP readings..very low to high. They just added a third bag of fluid. I wish they would keep me here but it doesn’t look like it.

Hope you can get your MRI and your endoscopy done asap @MamaBee . Your symptoms sound very scary to me and I'm surprised that they are not admitting you to the hospital. Sending hugs your way.

Thank you @finerthings. I wish they would keep me.

Thank you @finerthings. I wish they would keep me.

You just about have to come in with a limb missing these days to get admitted. If you *really* want to be admitted, tell them you have chest pain. (I'm kinda joking re that...kinda not...)

An alarm keeps going off because of my pulse dipping so low..30s... It’s REALLY scary. They are going to keep me TG. They’re going to have a Gastro person come to see me and possibly a cardiologist tomorrow. They’re not sure if the Gastro is here today. I need Dr. House!

Or have trouble breathing. That’s the other red flag for them. @MamaBee so sorry you’re feeling so ill with no answers.

@missy I hope dad came home today without incident and he’s home resting comfortably. ❤️

How is your oxygen level, J?

And I'm SO glad they're keeping you in overnight. <3

Hi NIRDI’s!

@missy I am glad to hear your mom is getting help some days. Maybe, she’ll decide to have help everyday. I hope so and whatever she decides works well. Hoping getting your dad home today went smoothly. I am glad you like your nephrologist and he is so helpful. Good deal your kidneys are healthy. Sorry you are having rain but I am glad you can get out and walk. Sorry to hear about the test results on your lining. Ugh. The sunrise / sunset photo is gorgeous. And that is a very cool bridge.

@canuk-gal glad the roads weren’t too bad to go to the doctor. I hope the tests find what’s going on and your are doing better soon. Your fondue supper sounds delicious. I plan on starting on my photo stash soon. Stay safe in that brutal snow storm. We had a snow storm blow in today as well.

@Austina I’ll let you know if we are in your area for the eclipse. The best way to check eclipse glasses is - and every time you use them - put them on, look at the sky away from the sun. If you see anything, throw them away. If you don’t you can look at the sun. I’m with you on the excitement meter. Oh no to finding a scorpion in the house. Glad you found it though. And your neighbor finding a snake. That song just popped in my head “I don’t like spiders and snakes”. We used to get snakes in our last house. I have no idea what kind of critters we’ll have out of town. Probably more than we have now.

@MamaBee I hate to hear you are still so sick. I am glad you are heading to the ER. Keeping you in my thoughts and big hugs coming your way. It’s good they are running multiple tests on you and keeping you in the hospital. The BP and pulse numbers are scary.

@mrs-b I can’t wait to see your finished ring now. Marty did get home safely. And all the teddy bears were on the floor in no time. I get in my toe touches that way. David’s flight sounds crowded. The birthday celebrations will be a lot of fun. Party at Mrs-b. Sweet. Have a great time and a piece of cake for me.

Hi @Slickk I hope you are doing well. You deserve to rest on the weekend. I just watched Overboard this weekend. It’s a great movie.

There was excitement around town on Friday. There was a 6,600 acre wildfire right on the edge of town. It started about 10 miles west of us and headed both south and north. It was close to the TBE area. They had it contained by Friday night. Some structures were lost but all people and animals were saved. We drove by the north end of it today and wow, a lot burned and some house had it right up to their door. Very scary.

Saturday, I met a friend for an early lunch. When we get together we talk a lot and usually over wine. After lunch, we retired to our house and ended up drinking a bottle of wine EACH. It was fun though. She and her boy friend are looking at moving too.

Luckily, that was hours before I had to go pick up Marty at the airport.

Today we went out for breakfast and then I finished work I started on Friday (I quit after the fire started() and did a few other things for work.

I can tell Marty is home. I’ve been picking up teddy bears several times today. I did get laundry done and washed all the linens yesterday.

Take care.
Marcy

GM girls and happy how did you get here so fast Monday!

@MamaBee I hope you had an uneventful night and they are providing you with relief. Please check in when you can we are all concerned. Big hugs

@marcy thank you. My dad went home via ambulette yesterday and that is all I know. I will find out more today. My mom is having a nurse come today but not every day which I think is a huge mistake. But there is no talking to her. OH no about the wildfires. I read about those and praying for all affected and may TBE remain safe. An early lunch with your friend Saturday sounded lovely. Glad Marty is home and lol about the teddy bears. Good for you accomplishing so much. Hugs

@Slickk thank you. Not much to report right now. I hope you had a fantastic weekend and that this week goes well for you and the kids..XOXO

@bling_dream19 hope you enjoyed a lovely weekend and good luck with the treatment ahead...XOXO

@canuk-gal hope you had a lovely weekend and all is going smoothly

@Austina our weather was warm for me yesterday...60s and sunny and little wind so I was sweating during my long walk but enjoyed it nevertheless. It is unseasonably warm for us for this time of year and I almost put the AC on yesterday haha

Hello everyone else. We had a good day yesterday. During the beginning of our walk when Greg was with me we ran into neighbors and were chatting for over an hour so that delayed my walk and I got home late but it was a good chat. I like our neighbors very much. Lovely people and we are lucky. Today I woke up late so have not even checked weather. I fed the cats. Gave Tommy his meds. And had my coffee and breakfast. So I am almost ready to begin my day....I wish you all a marvelous Monday XOXO

Hello lovelies

It was only a baby scorpion @mrs-b and they’re not the black ones, these are brown and apparently if they sting you it’s like a burn, but not serious. Yes thank you, I had my 2nd physio, they had me doing ridiculously easy exercises, then he did more of the trigger release pressure. My shoulder is feeling so much better, not completely cured, but I’m doing exercises, and using the heat pad, and it’s really helping. I hope you had a fun weekend, and that Eleanor’s had a great birthday.

I hope your Dad got home safely @missy, and that your Mum is able to cope. Keeping everything crossed that things go smoothly, even though I’m sure they need more help. Every time I see Ollie I think of the Elvis song “Devil in Disguise” Glad you and Greg have managed to get out and enjoy the great outdoors.

Glad Marty got home safely @marcy, and I hope the fires keep well away from TBE. Fortunately the fires in Tx are a long way from us, but everything is so dry. Thanks for the tip about the eclipse glasses. The offer’s there!

Oh good grief @MamaBee, thank goodness they kept you in, and I hope by now they’ve got a plan to treat you and get you on the road to recovery. Did you have a good night, are you feeling any better yet?

I’d rather had a baby scorpion than snow @canuk-gal, at least it was quick and easy to get rid off.

I hope you had a good weekend @Slickk, before you headed back to work today.

We’ve spent the weekend by the pool, the weather’s been glorious here, so we’re making the most of it.

Sending love and hugs to you all :wavey:

HI:

NIRDI shout out!!!!

@Austina touche my friend touche. I wish snow was easy to get rid of....18cms we got and it was -18C. Tonight -25C (predicted) YIKES. Hate it, but thems the shakes. Supposed to be double digit this weekend. Ya, I'll wait. LOL.

@missy hope thing went well today. Lots of nerves.

@MamaBear any news? Feeling better? Hope so.

@marcy fires are so scary. I know lots of people whose homes were seriously threatened by the BC forest fires last summer. Glad your DH is home.

Nothing going on. I paid my Visa today--no wonder my purse is much lighter! I plan on making salmon burgers tomorrow. I have left over béarnaise that will sub for mayo to put on top. And if IRR Safeway has some fresh wild salmon on sale.

cheers--Sharon

@MamaBee keeping you in my thoughts, hope that you are feeling better and the doctors have some answers for you.

@MamaBee - thinking of you all day today and hoping things are going better. Please drop in and update us when you have time and feel up to it.

@missy - how is your dad doing? Did you see him today?

@Austina - I'm really glad your shoulder is feeling better! I hope it continues to go from strength to strength.

@marcy - sounds like you had a bunch of (much deserved) fun wiht your friend! And I'm glad Marty is home. In *this* household, we have what we call "the Tim trail". It's a real thing, so you have my sympathies!

Hallo to everyone else and I hope the new week is going well for you!

Today is Eleanor's birthday and we had a great time. Her dad is still here and this morning she, Tim and David went to the local cinema and saw Dune 2. This afternoon we went to a wonderful inner-city chinese restaurant that does wonderful food, then came home, played games and ate birthday cake. I made it and am not too afraid to say - it was delicious. ::)

Here are a few photos we took:

GM ladies and happy terrific Tuesday!
Today we are getting our new oven delivery...it is pouring out however so not the best weather for a delivery.
Just hope they come on time and it goes smoothly.
Spoke with both parents yesterday and let's just say there are many challenges. The nurse came in the morning and today the physical therapist will be there. Tomorrow a nurse's aid. We shall see how this goes. My dad cannot get himself up from the wheelchair. He really needs to work on his strength and we are not sure he will be able to overcome these challenges.

@MamaBee I am glad the specialists are on your case and hoping for answers and relief very soon. Lots of love and continued healing wishes XOXO

@canuk-gal I love salmon burgers. May all your snow melt melt melt. Thanks for your continued well wishes for my family. Hahaha for a lighter purse. Money is to make our lives easier and more pleasant so enjoy spending it because that is what it is good for IMO :)

@Austina oh a baby scorpion that's different ..I have a bug phobia. And it is not pretty. LOL

@bling_dream19 hope yesterday went well and all is going smoothly...big hugs

@Slickk stay dry and warm today...it's raining cats and dogs out there..XOXO

@mrs-b awww gorgeous photos and I LOVE Eleanor's sweater...that color. TDF. You are both glowing in that photo  A very happy happy birthday to Miss Eleanor...may all her dreams come true XOXO

Hi @finerthings hope all is well by you

So it was a good day yesterday albeit a bit cooler than Sunday...today I have a medical appointment I am nervous about because he wanted to see me but he usually just calls to tell me labs are fine. Which means labs are not fine. I am not looking forward to this appointment. Then oven delivery. And rain all day today, tomorrow and the next day. Is this April?

Enjoy a terrific Tuesday all. XOXO

And from the you can’t make this stuff up files

The delivery couldn’t happen. Why you ask?
Greg had informed them months ago we have a downdraft so installation will be more complicated. They came to the house and took photos months ago. They said at that time no problem with the installation. Long story short (too late lol) they came today and saw it was a more complicated installation than initially thought. So they have to reschedule. And it will cost us more

Can’t make this stuff up

But this should be our worst problem. It’s not

My specialist appointment was upsetting. He’s a great dr. And kind. But wants me to go on phosphorus meds as I’m losing phosphorus and no one understands why. And it’s dangerous to have low phosphorus levels. But I’m renal wasting so the more I take the more I lose. There’s no easy solution here. He wants me on phosphorus pills. Which are RX only here in the USA. And they’re hard on the stomach. And some people who have renal wasting have to take 50 pills a day. He’s starting me on two. I don’t know what to do. Knowing what I know two will do nothing and only cause more issues. This is in direct opposition to another of my specialists recommendation about this. So who do I listen to. What do I do. I’m lost. I’ll think about it

@MamaBee hope your endoscopy is going well. Big hugs

See you all tomorrow. Have a great rest of the day. We’re running errands right now. Costco rocks :)

As well versed as you are with your medical health, this may have already been ruled out but has there been a thorough study of your parathyroid glands including an ultrasound? I'm sure trying to decide whether or not to take the phosphorus pills is a tough decision. I don't know what I would do in your position.

I also wanted to share how circumstances went as my elderly parents aged. My Dad, like yours, was the first to have issues and he and my mother wanted to stay in their big home. We did everything we could to make living there tenable for them, thinking there would be improvement in Dad's issues. But we quickly learned age takes it's toll and he continued to slowly decline. As he neared the end, we feared our Mom would go first since the caretaking was wreaking havoc on her health.

After he passed away, Mom regained her health and lived into her nineties. When she turned ninety, she fell and fractured her tibia which held her knee replacement and she recovered in an impatient rehab center. The Dr. supported our belief that she could no longer live alone. Anyone of us would have brought her to live with us but she wouldn't have it. We arranged for a wonderful assisted living apartment and when she was released from rehab, we took her there.

We had brought many important pieces from her home and had totally decorated the apartment in a way we felt she would enjoy and find comfortable. She was furious when we brought her there, wouldn't talk to us and only said we had planned to do this for a long time. It was heartbreaking for us. My sister was in charge of her health care and spoke with her physician about an anti-depressant and it was arranged. She went to assisted living on a Monday and I went back to see her the following Friday. She was glowing and said the caretakers were so good to her and were taking care of everything.

Did she miss her home of 65+ years? Of course, but it was tempered by the fact she could relax and stop trying to maintain that big house. Family was visiting her often and the facility provided entertainment too. In the end though, we couldn't make her young again but providing proper care and company gave quality to those final days.

I wish you and your family well in your decisions and maneuvering these difficult times with your Dad and Mom. Your Mom may be a candidate for an anti-depressant with the knowledge her husband is declining and her burden is heavy.
Sending you prayers for the right path and steps in the days ahead.

@missy I’ll confirm what @Sunrises Sunsets said re her mother adjusting quite quickly to the assisted-living care facility. My MIL was also very resistant to leave her home as well and was depressed for a short time. But she is so happy she is there now. She doesn’t have to worry about anything, not her medicine, her food, her laundry. And we just get to go and visit and not have to feel resentful at taking care of a big house she shouldn’t be in. Win win. Sending continued good wishes.
@MamaBee ((hugs)) hope you’re doing well!!

ETA I’m not familiar with those meds @missy I will read up on that. Sorry for the conflicting advices. And the Stove ugh!! Off to a meeting. Ciao

@missy - Installation issues are widespread and the stuff teeth-grinding is made of! I hope you get your new oven soon. As for your health - I have no suggestions, only hugs and support. I hope you work out which way to proceed shortly. As for your parents - prayers continuing.

@MamaBee - are you out there? If you see this and feel up to it, please check in? Big, gentle hugs to you!

@Sunrises Sunsets - what a lovely, encouraging post! <3

AFM - David left this afternoon after a wonderful visit. Eleanor has started her part time job and is on Day 3 today. And Tim, after 3 whole months of contract work, gave it up and accepted a full time position. <sigh> We'll see how this goes.

Wet, wet and more wet, here in Massachusetts. Roll on, April!

I just got this email from @MamaBee which she said I could share with the NIRDIs:

"I had an abdominal CT scan the day before yesterday...They did an endoscopy today. My upper stomach was clear. They are no closer to finding out what’s wrong. I think they’re running out of ideaa They doubled up the nausea medicine so I could start eating today. I didn’t eat anything except for an occasional half of banana before I came to the hospital. I’ve been on a clear diet up to late this afternoon. My pulse is still very low but blood pressure is high. They didn’t want to treat the blood pressure because they were afraid of lowering my pulse. It went very high so they gave me my BP medicine back. It then dipped super low in two and a half hours. I think I’m an enigma.. They don’t know what to do with me..My pulse runs around 32 when I’m sleeping. It will sometimes be in the 40’s during the day. The GI doctor doubled the nausea medicine so I could eat. I ate a little bit of turkey…couple of teaspoons of mashed potatoes and applesauce. I kept that down They want to send me home tomorrow which is crazy..I insisted I want a cardio consult before they do..They assured me I would have one by tomorrow."

This really sucks.

@mrs-b Thank you so much for posting the latest update from @MamaBee. I have had her in my thoughts daily, and I am so concerned for her. Please let her know that we are sending her much love and support!

IMG_0269.jpegHi NIRDI’s!

@missy I hate to hear your parents are having a challenging time, it’s good some people are coming in to help. Keeping them in my thoughts. How nice to get to visit with your nice neighbors. Yep, that kitty is a perfect Angel / Devil and I STILL listen to packages before I bring them in the house. Ha Ha. That’s too bad they have to come back for the oven installation and it’ll cost you more. I am so sorry to hear they want you to take that medicine. It doesn’t sound like either option (taking them or not) is good.

@Austina I am glad your shoulder is feeling better. Glad it was a baby scorpion. Once when we were visiting Chris in Arizona, there was a small white scorpion in her garage when we were leaving. It was about an inch of a little bit more. So I tell Marty about it and he gets out of the SUV to find it and kill it. He had on sandals so he took it off and started to go toward it and the little sucker put its stinger up and head right for him. Marty won. Ha Ha. LOL to Ollie and the Elvis song. That is perfect. I worry this will be a bad fire season everywhere this year. Enjoy that pool and glorious weather.

@canuk-gal sounds like your snow won’t be going away for awhile. Sounds familiar. We drove through a snow squall for about 5 minutes in Colorado today. So far, it hasn’t arrived here but it got cold again. The fires were awful in BC last year. That one is Texas is huge that is going on now. Scary for everyone. The guy that was in Kansas giving training classes with Marty lost his home in California to a fire. I’ve got to pay our Mastercard bill soon too. I feel your pain.

@MamaBee sending your mega dust and big hugs your way. I hope they keep you in the hospital until they figure out what’s going on with you.

@mrs-b lol to the Tim Trail. I get it. Looks like Eleanor had a wonderful birthday. And I love all the pictures. Everyone looks so happy. Thank you for sharing the email from @MamaBee.

@Sunrises Sunsets thank you for sharing your story. Dealing with aging parents is rough and I am glad your mom decided she liked her caretakers. There’s no right or wrong answer for sure.

@Slickk I am glad your MIL adjusted to assisted living.

We both took off today and went to Denver. We started with breakfast at Cracker Barrel where I found a Joe Cool Snoopy sweatshirt. They had one left and it was my size. How cold I pass it up? Then we got to the jewelry store. Marty made sure there were not puddles in the parking lot before he parked. Ha Ha. I had my 39 pieces of jewelry cleaned so it took a while (earrings count as 2 pieces). I traded in a pair of pink dangle earrings I don’t wear for a new ruby / diamond band. I plan on wearing it as my wedding ring sometimes because my diamond ring is getting loose so I don’t wear it out of the house too often. Good thing I count how many things I have of each type of jewelry, she missed bringing me back 2 rings. I’d be ticked to get home and realize I’m missing some rings.

Next, we picked up a mount Marty bought for one of his telescopes. We then had to run it over to a software company (about 30 miles away from there) to transfer the software license on it and pay for upgrades. That took a while. The town is at the base of the Rockies so we took a back road for about an hour which was a nice scenic drive.

After we got back to town, we ran by TBE and only saw them packed up the Bobcat and tractors. They should start framing soon.

Marty is busy getting his mount set up. I had fun being a retired person today.

Take care.
Marcy

Here’s my band.

GM girls. Just go back from doing labs. Happy wonderful Wednesday

@marcy gorgeous ring ♥️ and hahaha yes keep listening because I’m getting ready to ship him off. He’s a Royal pain in my tushy:) TY for your continued well wishes and support

@Sunrises Sunsets Tysm for brainstorming for me. Yes long story but a few years ago I was diagnosed with secondary hpt and we’ve since corrected it but always monitoring. I’m a complex case stumping all the specialists. I hate that fact and feel like I’m on my own and greatly appreciate your input.

@mrs-b glad we’re both in touch with Joanne. I’ve been checking in on her multiple times a day and hope her cardio consult happens today and goes well. Fingers crossed. Tysm for your continued support and well wishes

@Slickk thank you and again I’m so sorry for all you went through. Ty for being here for me

@bling_dream19 good morning sweet friend. All my love

Hello everyone else. Sorry for the short post. I’m behind schedule but sending so much love to all of you ♥️
Happy wonderful Wednesday XOXO

@Sunrises Sunsets i am so sorry I didn’t respond about you sharing your experience with your parents. Incredibly helpful. Thank you. And I’m so sorry for all you and your family went through. And am relieved ultimately it worked out the best it could. Aging is challenging on many levels for all involved. Big big hugs ♥️

Hello lovelies

Oh no @missy, another problem you really don’t need on top of everything else. I’m sorry I can’t offer any kind of practical advice, I just don’t know anything about all your complicated medical mysteries. I can only hope that whatever you decide to do, it works out. I hope once your parents have a routine set up, it works out for them. I can’t remember if I ever mentioned that Colin’s Mum went in to residential care when she was 91? The facility where she went had couples living who needed minimal assistance, but when they did, they could move to the residence that had more care available. She actually said she didn’t know why she’d waited so long to go there, and wished she’d done it sooner. I do wonder if your Mum’s reluctance to get help is that she thinks if things don’t work out, they’ll be separated. There must be places where they could still be together but get the help they need? Oy to nothing ever going to plan, why oh why, can people just not get things right? Let’s hope they get your oven sorted out quickly, what a palaver.

@mrs-b you look like you all had a great time and Eleanor suits that colour so well. Was she pleased with all her presents? Thanks for updating us on @MamaBee, and please let her know we’re thinking of her. I really hope they can get to the bottom of what’s going on, it’s so worrying not to have any answers.

@marcy, wow, your new ring is lovely and is substantial enough to wear on it’s own if you decide not to add your ER. Thank goodness you noticed quickly that you didn’t get all your jewellery back after the cleaning, it could easily have ended up getting lost. The sweatshirt was obviously sitting there waiting for you to turn up! I hope they get going on the house again soon, of course we have the opposite problem here in that the workers have to work around the heat, not the cold.

Sounds like your MIL was like mine @Slickk and adapted well to living in a care facility. I think the biggest thing was no longer being lonely as well as not having the responsibility of keeping up a home.

Did you find out what’s going on with your swelling fingers @canuk-gal?

We went to look at plants yesterday, we’re going to add a few each year when we know what survives. We’ll definitely get more roses, they’ve done really well, and probably some more Yucca. There are lots of plants I’d love to have, but we just don’t have the water to keep them alive. We went to Marshalls and Home Goods, and bought a few small things, a nice t-shirt for Colin and a lamp for the bedroom. We decided to go for lunch at an Italian place we’ve been to before (once with Kate and John), and both had the lunchtime special, which was chicken piccata. The portions are ridiculous, we both brought half of it home. It hit 90 degs yesterday and the pool temp was 88 degs, so we spent the rest of the afternoon in and around the pool.

Nothing planned for today, I might muster up the energy to prune the Russian sage and then we’ll be in the pool again.

Keeping you all in my thoughts :wavey:

Missy, it is interesting about the secondary HPT factor. My nephew, in his twenties at the time, suffered from some of your symptoms and diagnosed HPT. His parathyroid surgery for removal by a very skilled physician was life changing for him. He takes calcium supplement and is doing very well.

I have a parathyroid node that is being monitored yearly through ultrasound and recently started to increase every so slightly. My endocrinologist is thinking biopsy but I want at least one more year to determine if it has stabilized. If it ain't broke.. don't fix it, is my medical mindset and I am not in a rush for another surgical procedure. I also don't have my head in the sand regarding my health, lol.

About your parents, I truly appreciate the angst and uncertainty of the situation your family is facing. My heart goes out to all those dealing with aging parents where decisions need to be made regarding the capacity to continue to live on their own. It is an awful moment when one finds their parent has been injured by a fall and no one was there to help.

Your Mom lashing out at you and your sister is her feeling their lives are moving out of their control. I know she loves you and your sister very much from the history you have provided. Wishing you insight, patience and peace while sorting out future plans for your parents.

***As a footnote, Austina brought up and excellent point regarding couples being separated. Most assisted living residences make allowances for married couples sharing a larger unit. A couple I know of, where the wife was developing Alzheimer's disease, remained together until she needed care in the Memory Care Unit. He could walk in and visit with her anytime he wanted and she remained there until her passing. He still lives there and is now 97!
