Hello lovelies
Ugh @mrs-b, I’m so sorry that you’ve been, and are still going through, such an ordeal with your health, and trying to get some resolution and relief. I wish I could do or say something construction that would health. As it is, I can only say, take care and send you healing vibes. I’m so glad you’ve had company to help you through this awful time.
Woohoo @missy, so glad your lovely nieces have got their boosters. The sun shining makes all the difference, even when it’s cold. It’s chilly here, and we‘ve had some much needed rain. Yep, we’re keeping everything crossed the windows arrive and are installed this week.
What’s the next item you’re thinking of knitting @marcy? I used to knit a lot and really enjoyed it, I still have my needles and maybe I’ll take it up again someday. I’m glad you’re enjoying your retirement, it’s great isn’t it?
Hi @Bayek, please don’t worry, life is busy and has a way of whizzing by. We’ve had a major delay with the windows, back at the beginning of November, we were told they were on a 12 week back order due to supply issues. Everything was going pretty well until then. Sheetrock is piled high in the garage waiting to be installed after the windows go in. We were told they were going in last week, but nope, every house except ours got their windows (all built after ours). Hopefully this week! It doesn’t get any easier losing our beloved doggos, but I think we’ve reluctantly come to the conclusion we won’t have another, we’ll look after Bertie whenever we’re needed. How exciting to be upgrading Ever, especially as it’s so unexpected.
We’re not going to go up to the house until Wednesday, which is the day the window installers said they ’should’ be installing ours. We’re then going to Fredericksburg for a couple of days.
Sending big love and hugs to you all.
