oh gosh, am i the only october 3rd bride chiming in here? we''ve gotten a lot done, but i still feel like i have tons to do! AAAAAAH!!!!

Hi everyone - I''ve been away for a while with a crazy work schedule but back now and scared at how much I have to do. I''m so an anti-bride and can''t finish planning!!!

With just over 100 days left until Oct 23rd...off the top of my head

October 10th 2009!!!

As soon as it hit around the 3 months to go mark, I realised that I had better get a few more things organised- and soon!! Vows, BM dresses and ordering the rings are the main things left. Menu tasting this weekend- can''t wait! I had better just tick all these things off the list so I can enjoy my last few months as a fiancee stress free!

Actually- Im kidding myself... I just read what I said I have left to do and I have HEAPS more than that! Shoes, underwear, honeymoon, cake flovour, jewellery, invites to finish etc etc etc etc etc...ahh! Will get there

Finalize guest list (almost there!) and finish getting addresses
Figure out how to print the damn invitations without throwing my printer out the window.

Get FI''s WB
Book room at hotel for wedding night (waiting for them to send rates)
Go buy booze

Decide if it''s possible for my uncle to play the flute for the ceremony
Find hair place, do trial (doh! That''s a big one...should get on that)
Marriage license (3 days before)
Menu tasting next month
Music selections (halfway there?)
Cake flavors (2 of 4 chosen)
Anxiously awaiting b-pics this week to make album for FI

Done:
Decide whether I like the invitation stuff I designed and print/assemble
Figure out what the heck to get my BMs! -- I found cute necklaces at Express of all places. It''s pearls on a silver chain. Modern enough that they might wear them again, woot!
Book mini-moon in Victoria -- Staying at Laurel Point Inn right on the harbor.

oh gosh, i'm currently freaking about rsvps, weird as it sounds, i have more yes's than i thought i was going to get

still need:
book wedding night hotel

discuss ceremony details with officiant
discuss ceremony & reception music selection with dj

choose bridesmaids shoes

FI needs to rent suits for groomsmen, ringbearer and himself

Updating my list for my October 10, 2009 wedding - 79 days left!!!

Done:
-Venue, DJ, Pastor, Photographer, Florist, all booked.
-All dresses are in, finally.
-Decided on cake style, yay!
-Rings are in our possession and paid for! FI bought the whole set together when purchasing my engagement ring.
-Sand ceremony glasses, bought some from Michaels and put ribbons on it
-Guestbook, flower girl baskets, and ring bearer pillow arrived this week, so that''s done!
-DIY Garters - done!
-Card box for reception - done!
-Found my shoes for the ceremony!
-Bought sand for sand ceremony
-Met with florist to decide on bouquets last week and received our quote
-Held block of hotel rooms in the area for after the wedding
-Just got toasting flutes this week from engraver
To do(this is the part that scares me!!!):
-Decide on food menu
-Decide what to use in favor boxes, ugh.
-Invitations are all printed! Waiting for my bridesmaid to finish addressing the envelopes!
-Meet with DJ in August to talk about music
-Pre-marital counseling in August, one night per week for 4 weeks
-Alterations for my dress...still deciding on when to begin this??
-Figure out hair style
-Registery in progress - Registry machine was down when I went to finish, just my luck!
-BACHELORETTE PARTY! Sometime in August/September....I somehow became a little involved in this, because of my bridesmaids'' lack of helping my MOH, but that a whole different story!
-Bridal shower, who knows when, I somehow got involved in the drama of this also!
