OEC hunt begins, how to narrow choices? Need help with guidelines.

Don't dismiss other stones based on images, and don't let yourself become too attached based on images either. The proof is in the in-person viewing with these old diamonds. Many amazing stones do not photograph/video well but look amazing in person, in part bc the camera is monocular vision compared to our binocular eyes!

True, but this is the first one I really want to see in person enough to actually set the wheels in motion. There was one Grace I kinda liked, but she wouldn't sell it unmounted and 3 day return policy is toooo tight to me, if you're not sure. I hesitate to consider any of her stones because of only 3 day return.
I've offered my last penny on the Alex. If that doesn't happen then I'll be more willing to start looking again.

Just remind him you've been in contact before, that you've been looking 9 months, tell him what you are looking for. He offered to look for me and show me stuff before he listed it, maybe he can do same for you?
