A lake? That sounds just lovely. And it sounds like it's a meaningful place for you too.
The first trip we took together was out to the mountains. My boyfriend mentioned a few days ago he wants to do the same trip we did 3 years ago and go on the same canyon hike we did before the weather gets too cold. I think it's a bit late for that since it's already snowing in the mountains. I dunno, maybe we can still make it happen. Sounds romantic.
