I think Tom and Kate make a cute couple. I have nothing against them, but I don''t think the romance if real though. Like many people, I think it''s a publicity stunt.

My mother said it was more like father and child...it is a wee bit creepy.

Tom is obviously in love with himself & chose accordingly. She looks like him, only with the body of a young boy. My sister''s ex-husband is gay & they had two children together. I thought the church of scientology claims to "cure" gays. They supposedly have a list of who they have "cured." I say Kenny Chesney & Tom are both gay. My ex-brother-in-law seems to know who is & who isn''t. He said NFL player Eddie George definately is!!
 
I don''t know whether Tom is gay or not...but it''s apparent that he''s somewhat of a wack-job. At first I was hoping Katie would come to her senses before the marriage but now that there''s a baby involved, I''m sure they''ll go through with it.
 
I just caught the headline and knew there would be a thread here..

I am truly shocked and horrified. I also thought the romance was a publicity stunt and we didn''t hear much from these 2 since their summer blockbusters, and now this... just sad.

In years to come she will hit her sexual peak and he'll need viagra at his age. Or maybe there will be vitamins and exercise for that too.

I was appalled to see a T-shirt in one of the upscale teen stores (Abercrombie & Fitch or Hollister, for which it is a parent company) that said, "I''d convert for Tom" or some such thing. Here I read only disdainful comments about him. Do teenagers really like him?
(If not, there may be a big price reduction coming up for some shirts at your local mall!)

eeek. That is a scary thought. After the Brooke Shields deal I cannot handle Tom. I think he is horribly misguided.

I read an article in the Oprah magazine or one of the fashion magazines about a girl that escaped from scientology...they actually don''t want them to have children. She had to hide her morning sickness so her husband wouldn''t know, and then she finally got the courage to run away.

I recently saw on one of those entertainment shows that Katie has stated that she would not be using medication to deliver this baby. This girl is a twit. She didnt impress me when she said she had posters on her wall of Tom in her younger days, dreaming of marrying him one day. Her parents must just be beside themselves.

So I think Tom is a total wacko and he is disturbing to watch! I like Katie, and I almost feel sorry for her.
Anyhow, Maya, I heard the same thing this AM about the scientolgist birth plan. I am all for no drugs, and choosing to have your baby however you want, I myself will be having my baby in my own home in Dec. HOWEVER, I heard on some entertainment show today that they have to have a "silent" birth , silence around the baby for a week after birth and NO drugs. How can you put those restriction on a woman carrying and birthing a child. I know when I gave birth to my daughter I was animal!!!!!
Well what ever, I do hope Tom supports Katie if she has PPD after the baby is born, we''ll see how the vitamins and exercise work!!! This whole scenario is so frustrating for me!!!
