okay I''m married...now what???

I like Hangout, but with the wedding, I haven''t had time to be there much lately. I tried Around the World for awhile, but my political beliefs are pretty firm, so I didn''t want to discuss politics with people if I wasn''t interested in changing my opinion (and to hear you cannot discuss politics anymore. . .well, doesn''t sound too interesting).

I really feel like I "know" all of the posters going through wedding planning and some of the LIWs when I was there--in Hangout and FHH, not so much. It is kind of like trying to sit at a new table in the cafeteria, you know? For that reason, I am all for a Newlyweds thread/forum!

I feel exactly the same way....

Not planning on kiddos just yet, no home remodel, no jewerly projects (none I am admitting too anyway).

I just try to help out and hang out.

Shoot, I joined after I was married because I lurked while we were engaged (like an idiot. Should have just joined). We''re not TTC, not parents, so I generally nose around everywhere and see what''s happening. I drool over sparkly things and comment on threads when I have something to add. I totally use PS as my water cooler because I work at home when I''m not traveling and not having anyone to ''talk'' to gets to be too much. I don''t know that I ''fit'' in anywhere either, but I''ve decided that I''m not going to worry about it.

That''s a good attitude to have. Mind if I steal it??

And yeaaah gotta ditto everyone on the signature thing, too. I keep messing mine up. Today I actually used the wrong debit card (the one w/ the old name) need to shred it but had it in my wallet still. But I caught it in time! I want my new license..VA is now mailing them to you with their new system which means I am STILL waiting for it!! I have to carry around this piece of paper which is annoying.

So much for just grabbing your wallet and running in the store or something. Hopefully it came today? Haven''t checked the mail yet..

HH - I totally agree. I would love a place for us newlyweds!

Sarah - I think you might have told me at one point, but are you in Southern or Northern VA? I had to go through all the joys of getting a new VA license. Be warned, the new ones are SO UGLY. The picture is black and white and the won''t let you smile, so everyone pretty much looks like a serial killer. Its awful. I had such a great pic before and now it is ruined. Boo.

Oh well, at least you won''t have to carry around your annoying paper now, lol.
