pearls, ME LIKE! Generally, I wear pearls if my dress is heavily sequined/beaded. If my dress is flashy, then I don''t wear flashy jewelry.

i actually got a lot of crap for wearing a dress by those that decided to wear pantsuits (ugh) - they called dresses "anachronistic" and "sexist" - i didnt know they were either - i also get teased cause i prefer dresses and skirts to shirts and shorts in summer - as i tried to tell a dress hater wearing shirts and shorts doesnt make them feminine just because your wearing them - only unisex cause boys wear them too

I know... wearing cuff-links is wrong, wearing dresses is wrong - no way to go right these days. I don''t even try - it saves allot of work

I think the others are just jealous that you are such a classy and feminine gal - I can''t imagine NOT wearing a cute dress to the prom! sheesh! At my prom, the only girls that didn''t wear dresses wore these sexy tuxedos w/extremely short skirts, a la playboy bunny style...

In any case, don''t let the self-righteous pantsuit girls get to you. Obviously, they don''t know how powerful a woman in a dress can be!!

Personally I love wearing skirts and dresses in summer (when the weather permits!) because it instantly makes me feel dressed up w/minimal work! If it makes you feel good, wear it - it gives more confidence in the way you carry yourself!
