Hello,
I have three ideal scope images and am having a hard time picking between the three. The guidance on ideal scopes webpage is a low quality image that helps me discern between large disparities but not really with small ones. Was hoping to get a more trained eye to say which one they think is "best". HCA allows for rejection of certain diamonds but now that I have ideal scope images and 40x zoom pics of them - how to really choose? I liked the 1.40ct because the scope and image look excellent but am now second guessing as the gemologist thought it the weakest of the three. The 1.34 seems like a good value and performer but it looks pretty beat up but it said to be eye clean.
From the gemologist:
I understand how large and important this purchase is for you, so I asked the gemologist to look over the diamonds to give us some eyes on feedback. As I am sure you expected after reviewing the images, the gemologist found the 1.34 carat-H-SI2 (diamond 275235; $7,970) and the 1.23 carat-G-SI2 (diamond 270375; $7,430) to be the liveliest performers. They have an excellent amount of brilliance (white light return), fire (dispersion of color) and sparkle that is well balanced and symmetrical. They are also both a nice, white color and face up completely "eye clean". The 1.40 carat-H-SI1 (diamond 285592; $10,220) is a beautiful option, with a great amount of brilliance, fire and sparkle; however, it is the weakest performer of the three. It too is a nice white color and faces up "eye clean".
