Can anyone direct me to a reputable online source for vintage ring semi-mounts? I have a 1/2-carat diamond that needs a lovely home for a right-hand ring.

Singlestone comes to mind, not sure if they have semimounts

JBEG have some amazing pretties and from what I've heard, they're very good to work with!

Another option is http://www.doverjewelry.com. Some of their stuff is vintage, some of it is more modern. A lot of it is overpriced, but if you have a look around maybe you'll see something you like...?
