OnlyBands

I tend to wear “jewelry uniforms” (items that I wear 24/7, only changing for special occasions/outings) yellow gold in the fall/winter, and white metals in the spring/summer. This is my right hand summer uniform: platinum and white gold.

It’s been a while since anyone has posted here but I’m feeling sentimental today! I travel a lot for work, and coming up on a month of straight travel. Wearing my husband’s 6mm platinum band to feel closer to him while I’m gone (the one we got married with, he wears his yellow gold Cartier band daily)

stacked with my multi color sapphire band from Inken

Aww.. I love that. So romantic and sweet.

Here are all my bands banding together :Dfor a group shot. Please excuse the fuzziness as there are too many rings for my camera to focus on!

Here are some details about them below, but please skip the long list if you are just here for photos.

20230916_161120.jpg

Index finger (bottom to top):
- heart diamond eternity in 18K white gold
- fancy purplish pink diamond half eternity in 14K rose gold. Sadly, I can't quite capture their colour in this shot.
- 1.5mm pave diamond eternity in 14K white gold
- an old tri-colour trinity ring handed down to me from an aunt

Middle finger (bottom to top):
- marquise and round diamond eternity in 9K yellow gold with a little chevron dip on one side. This was given to me as a anniversary band.
- 10K yellow gold band sprinkled with pave diamonds in the middle section
- 1.25mm pave diamond eternity in 14K white gold
- marquise & round diamond half eternity ring in 14K white gold
- baquette & round diamond half eternity ring in 14K white gold
- 2 half eternity emerald and diamond bands in a darker and lighter shade of green, handed down to me from my mum. These are very included and not the best colour, but I keep them for sentimental reasons.

Ring finger (bottom to top):
- 1.7mm pave diamond eternity in 14K white gold. This was also given to me as an anniversary band.
- original bark textured wedding ring in 14K rose gold
- shared prong diamond eternity band in 14K white gold, that is about 2mm wide
- 1.2mm pave emerald eternity band in 14K white gold. I love this! Small but glowy!
- emerald marquise and round diamond half eternity band in 14K white gold. Also a lovely glowy ring!
- simple 14K white gold band with a little diamond marquise

Little finger:
- cuff band with diamonds in 14K yellow gold
- diamond distance half eternity ring in 14K white gold
- an engraved 18K white gold band
- 2 thin spacer rings in 14K white gold and rose gold.

Whew, what a mouthful! Thanks for making it through so far!

I'm not sure if my 14K yellow gold flexible cuban chain ring and these vintage Fede wedding rings (supposedly from the 1970s and 1930s respectively and made in 9K yellow gold and 9K rose gold) count as bands, but here they are anyway.

Thanks for looking!

Sparkle_ruckle, you rock! All winners.

Beautiful! Details?

I love this thread!
have been ”collecting” bands for the last couple of years. Here is yesterday’s stack:
1. 2.41 ct. platinum marquise eternity
2. Preowned platinum Tiffany Steamerica band
3. Preowned Ritani platinum bright cut set eternity band

I have learned so much from this Forum:
1. Which bands will scratch others, etc.
2. Buy eternity rings in a slightly larger size to stack and for “growth”, they can’t be sized.
3. Bands are versatile and can frame other rings.

Oh that marquise band!

I have been looking for a carved floral band for a long time! A great Preloved find! (Apologies for the peeling dry hands )

That's very pretty!

My new Etoile inspired scattered diamond band, 4mm platinum 0.22 tcw (10 stones, G/VS). It's a present from my parents, a sentimental piece and I wanted something understated with little maintenance that I could wear almost 24/7. The stones go 3/4 around the band, I suppose I am lucky that somehow rings don't spin on my fingers so I never see the gap but yet it leaves an option for resizing if needed. I love the simplicity and the idea that you can only really see the pattern if you come close to me. DSCF5082.JPGDSCF5084.JPGDSCF5081.JPG

Enjoying the revival of this thread!
Here’s my Burmese ruby/diamond eternity band . It’s platinum dipped in yellow gold, which I haven’t seen before. I love warm rubies, sparkly diamonds and yellow gold. IMG_1949.jpeg

Rubies and diamonds....drool. I would love to find a band like this (alternating rounds.)

Rubies are my daughter’s birthstone, so they have to be my favorite colored gemstone. Tiffany made a similar eternity band that is really lovely too. They turn up on ebay from time to time.

Ah...this is where these belong!20231227_102717.jpg
