I'll be pulling the trigger on an engagement ring very soon. I have the diamond narrowed down to just a few.

These two are very similar but one is G and one is F. Both are ACA and both are eye-clean. I must admit I'm leaning towards the F but the first magnified photo seems a little washed out at the top. I don't know if this is simply a quality of the image or of the diamond.

The attached image is from a smaller independent dealer. I don't have photos yet but I will have them soon. It is Hearts & Arrows and the price is $4780.

What say you pricescopers?

Both ACA looks good.

The other dealer, unlikely to be a H&A in the standard sense with that large a lower half, probably a modified hearts with a more pronounce cleft in the hearts.

Thanks for the reply. The images on the F are nothing to worry about then?

I've attached the photos of the third diamond. Can you explain what is meant by a pronounced cleft in the hearts? There is a noticeable contrast in the hearts but I wasn't sure if that was again a property of the photo as opposed to the diamond. The same contrast is evident on the arrows image but again I'm unsure what that means.

yap, could be image problem. Ask for the images to be retaken as the stone is not properly placed in the setup and make it bigger. Also, no post processing the image, the hearts image looks like it is join between 2 image, there is a disjoint in the image around the 2/3 of the image from the top.

Read this article. Cleft is the split of the hearts.
