Opinions on bands with e-ring?

I am choosing between 2 wedding bands to go with my Tacori 2620. The first is the "matching band" (plain profile). The second is basically the same, but with diamond detail on the side. It would need to be customized to have no milgrain on the top to match the ering, but otherwise matches up pretty great in terms of width (2.5 vs 2.4 mm on the ering) and height. What do you think?

Are your pictures backwards compared to your descriptions? I'm kind of confused.

Does you e-ring have diamonds on the side of it like the first band or is it plain like the second band?

I am sorry the pics are swapped from the order I presented them. The first pics are of the band with the diamonds in the profile, and the second pic is of the standard plain profile matching band. Here is a pic of the ering. Thanks for looking!

You dont have a top-down view of the plain one do you? I'm drawn to the one with the plain band. I think maybe because
it is a very ornate setting and the one with diamonds on the side is just a bit much for me (but that is a personal thing).
They are both beautiful and would look great wtih your ering (not a bad decision to have to make)!

I would vote for the more ornate one. My thinking is that you paid a lot of money for the Tacori setting, why cover it up with a plain band?

Sorry, i do not have a top down view of teh plain one, but it looks almost identical to the more ornate one. Thanks for the feedback!

I'd get the matching band. It looks like the side view on the matching w-band is the same as the side view of the e-ring. The heights of the rings will match then as well. Pretty setting, BTW.

I think there's a good reason the matching band is plain in profile - imagine all those diamonds and milgrain rubbing against each other all the time

Thanks Yissie. Question for you, sorry if this seems silly. Are you saying that the diamonds and milgrain on the wed. band would scratch up the metal on the ering or the diamonds on the side of the ering? Or both? The jeweler told me it wouldn't be too big of an issue, but I am worried about it. I don't want to scratch up my ering!

It does seem that a lot of erings with side diamonds have wed. bands with side diamonds so I am curious. Thanks!
