Opinions on this Oval diamond please

I have been looking for an Oval and wanted your opinions on this one. Any advice would be appreciated. Its GIA VS2 but it looks like there are some visible inclusions?

Performance is what matters. You need better pictures. Preferrably a video. and an ASET image. If you can't get all of that.... pass.

Like Gypsy said, you need more info. Those specks could be reflections in the environment. As an oval ering owner, I'll say the still shot looks promising, but I would want a lot more "proof" before purchasing! Good luck, ovals are awesome.

Thank you for your replies. I will post again once I have more pictures and ASET image and keep looking in the meantime. I've looked on the GIA plot and the marks I can see don't seem to link up, I'm probably jumping ahead and as you all suggest should wait for better pics/video and the ASET image or see it in person!

I'm new to all this and like many others very much appreciate all the information and posts on this site so I will keep reading and doing my homework on ovals!

Hi Springtime!

While you're researching, it would help to take a look at Good Old Gold's website and do a search for Ovals. They usually have a good number posted on the site, along w/ pictures taken under the microscope, details of certs, ASETs, etc etc right there alongside the diamonds. So you can start out with quite a bit of info without having to request special reports, etc until you've narrowed your search down a little more.

I've also seen James Allen mentioned here a lot and they have a really neat 3D rotating representation of their stones that you also might find helpful and fun.
