Orange Pink Tourmaline - Need Decision Soon - HELP!

Hi my expert friends out there - need your help because I need a decision on this tourmaline soon - as soon as by tomorrow noon.

7.39ct fat oval, 11.8 x 11.2 x 8.3mm, loupe clean, no enhancement, from Nigeria. Orange pink.

Unsure because of the pink area in the center (seller claims to be not inclusion or window, a reputable seller). Also because of the weight distribution (possibly). For 7.39ct to be at it current dimensions, I am picturing a big belly.

So what do you think?

HI Ying,
That pink area in the center is a window that''s caused by the deep belly and the shallow angles on the bottom of the belly. That stone is one which would benefit by being cut to a "Portugese" cut. It would look very similar to it''s present look except that the window would be gone and it would be bright to the very center. That is a very attractive color isn''t it ? Kind of looks like what I imagine the finest Padparadscha sapphire to look like.

ying, its got lovely color! does recutting/reshaping cost very much? if not, i hope you go for it...

Thanks Richard for your expertise. That lovely color is the only reason that I am considering it. For all its worth, it is only a pink tourmaline. How much would you say to be a worthy purchase? (if we leave the recutting part out for this)

Very unique color. Would like to see the stone in incandescent light. In tourmaline, incandescent will tell the story.

Maybe see if you can get more pictures in different light? The color is so gorgeous! I just love tourmalines! They come in the best colors. There''s just something about them...

It is very beautiful and I love the color... If it can be recut and is not outrageous to do so... then I would go for it... It is quite unique!! Another beautiful yummy for you!!
