With recent threads about Tom and Katie, Paris Hilton etc etc...I have to voice my biggest disappointment. click on this link, it sums it all up Britney''s downfall

Omg....
32.gif
those photographers !

It really is distrurbing to see anyone being tracked down like that.

Ugh, that''s so sad.

That boys and girls is why you ought to use sunscreen and not smoke. Bleh...

One of my fave websites posted this last week, hilarious. Very much along the same lines..

http://www.thesuperficial.com/archives/000960.html

"Playboy could just open a thing of poppin-fresh dough, dress it like a tramp then put Britney’s picture and a lit cigarette at the top and it would pretty much be the same thing. I’d rather see my grandfather naked then Britney. "

teehee, boy, do I feel better about myself..

seriously, that''s bad..

Ditto on the Britney disappointment. She started out as a cutie and has definitely just gone drastically downhill. How sad.

WOW... That is really too bad...

OK, let me preface this by saying, "I CAN''T STAND BRITNEY, SHE''S A NO TALENT, WITH NO CLASS AND VERY POOR TASTE IN MEN"

BUT:

There''s a difference in being photographed after being professionally made up with hair and evening gown on the red carpet and having a high powered zoom lens trained on your balcony while in the privacy of your own home or hotel room, or sweating on the beach or poolside. It''s no secret that Britney has bad skin, (Jessica Simpson does too and does commercials for ProActive)

I suspect that Britney has looked pretty bad all along, she just didn''t have as many photographers eager to catch it on film. As far as the picture with the hickey-----ewwwww, I thought most people learned how not to get those in high school.

I''ll grant her looking dumpy if she''s pregnant in those pictures, but if she is then she''s smoking too and that''s just not cool. I think Mr. Federline and his dumpster chic has unfortunately rubbed off on the Missus, as she did seem to dress herself much better while off stage before he came along. I hope her mother convinced her to have him sign the prenup.

First off...I am speechless..and you all know that is a rare phenomenon. I just canNOT believe how tasteless, classless and unladylike she is. However, personally I don''t think someone becomes this way overnight, I believe the way she is now is the "true" Britney, and the person we knew her AS (think ''Baby one more time'' days) was more of a record label creation. Just sad that this is the person so many young girls are emulating.

Yuck.

well.. i personally never thought she was particularly pretty in the first place, but that''s too bad. i hope she is not smoking while she is pregnant though! yikes.......

OMG!!!! She''s so gross!

. I never thought she was pretty before but she had a nice body(very similar to mine

Hey Marriahlyn,
How''s it all going? You''re getting down to "D" day (as I call it; delivery day

)
I hope all is well.

I actually feel bad for her with that nasty skin. Yikes.
I bet we'd be horrified if we saw 90% of celebs without makeup and a hair stylist.

I actually think Winona Ryder looks good, don't know why she's on there.

Although I LOVE Oprah....I would definitely have to give her and Pamela Anderson the "Most Unattractive w/out Makeup" award...this why I never worship these celebrs. Unlike them, I go to sleep and wake up looking fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine as wine

I wonder how much of it is that their bad skin is accerbated by having all that makeup on that makes them look 'good'. I am a such a fan of less is more on makeup, I hardly wear any and prefer it that way..I agree with whoever said in the other thread that Jessica looks so much better au naturel, I agree! Her big sex-kitten makeup sessions with the dark eyes just make me feel like she is playing Blowup Barbie or something. Much prefer her in jeans and a tee.

Mara - - that was me saying that JS looks so much better au natural on the other thread.

I think Christina Aguilera looks pretty good on that website!

It is amazing to see the transformation that these celebrities go through with a little (okay, a lot) hair and makeup help. Goes to show - - any of us could look like them!!

The skin issues tend to be from the theatrical makeup. It''s terrible stuff. And if one has super sensitive skin to begin with, heavy makeup and hot lights are not helpful.

I saw Cameron Diaz at the Ivy about a year or so ago... and I was shocked at how her terrible skin looked in person. (However, Salma Hayek was there too... and she was naturally gorgeous.)

Brad Pitt''s skin is also pretty bad in person.
Goodness, the list of bad skin is endless.

How nice it would be to have someone to put our makeup on and do our hair everyday? But it is very damaging. Your hair / skin end up fried from all the foofing. (Hence why so many celebs wear hair extensions.)

Actually, a friend of mine recently hired a ''celebrity'' makeup artist to do our makeup for her wedding. After all the airbrushing, plucking, primping... my skin looked like porcelain, but by the end of the day it was dry and irritated.
I couldn''t imagine going through that process daily.

Not only does it end up getting irritated, but it takes soooo much time. Especially for the Oscars and photo shoots - that "natural look" actually takes sometimes 4 HOURS of makeup application and hair work to get to!!
6.gif
I can''t imagine sitting in a chair for that long while someone plays around with my face, then get in front of the camera and told to act sexy! I would feel very un-sexy

I think Diaz has always been really upfront about her having bad skin. I remember reading about some premiere that she didn''t show up to because she had a bad break out and just in articles where she''s said stuff about it. At least that''s what I recall.

They''re not perfect, nothing new

deffo a fan of less is more in Make up... (ahem not that i wear it...mu..*cough* ever...)

Wilma Flintstone never wore makeup and look how sexy she was!

This is why I don''t "worship" them either.
9.gif
They are "real people" just like the rest us. That''s why I think that the idea that models and actresses are more ''genetically blessed'' than the nonceleb people is ridiculous.
20.gif
I am so glad that I don''t have every unflattering pic of me ever taken plastered across newspapers and magazines!
26.gif

I don''t have photographers following me everywhere, but I try to at least look presentable when I leave the house. My hair is combed, I have light make up in the areas that I need it most (color on my lips), and I dress in stuff that I don''t mind being seen in public in, instead of pajama pants, holey T-shirts etc. I just don''t understand what these celebs are thinking.....am I odd?

You know what I find the most irritating?? All the "most beautiful/sexy people in the world"...come on! If that is the case I should ATLEAST be in the top 5!! LOL

No, I completely understand what you mean! Granted I wear very little make up, matter of fact I wear lip gloss and mascara probably 360 out of 365 days in the year...and I think there is a way to be casual without being sloppy, trashy etc. Although celebs are "just like us", they have built their careers on an image, and then when they reach a certain status, they feel they can do whatever they want and blame it on the "I am a regular guy/gal" line...UMmmm I don''t THINK SO! If I get paid millions and millions of dollars to walk around looking PRESENTABLE I don''t think I would complain...I can understand the off shots that the paprazzi''s inevitably get HOWEVER, when have we seen a bad shot of Halle Berry? Angelina Jolie? Ashley Judd? I have yet to see any and it''s because I think they have natural beauty.
