I have to admit that I am really drooling over that pad spinel. It's wonderfully saturated and just the perfect color.

What? A pad sapphire too? I'm seriously green with envy.
I love the darker / more saturated pads. They just look better to me. This one is quite a unique ring. It kind of reminds me of a crescent moon. Love it!

elle_71125, I made 2 stars on the shank! Although I didn't take a picture from that angle, it's the hollow area on each side of the ring.

I scrolled back up and I think I can see enough to know where you're talking about. I love that! So cool.

You have so many gorgeous pieces showing up at once...I'm going to have to start wearing a bib, if you keep this up. I love the blue double halo ring, with a yellow inner halo. That baby just pops. And you neon mahenge ring is to die for. I love the delicate and classic setting. It lets the color shine.

Although I promised not to update this thread this year anymore, I just bought 3 silver blue Tahitian pearls, I decided that I don't like the ideal peacock color and the deep body tone. To me the silver blue ones have a bit modern look, and younger as well.

Also bought a 5ct black spinel from myanmar, which doesn't close up, with good light return. It's something pretty rare since most black spinels are just very dull.

I prefer the silver blues as well. You've had a great year! So few of us oldies around anymore.

I'm looking to buy my first tahitians next year...only 2 for custom earrings. I've never seen any in real life but housing the darker green body colour will suit my skin tone.

A little update, this ring hasn't been posted in this thread yet.

The stone is 1.8ct, small but clean with gorgeous color, the best indicolite tourmaline I've seen. Never darken up under any light, It's not tested for copper, so not sure whether it's a Paraiba, nonetheless, I love it as is. It reminds me of the sea water in cancun.

It looks like a butterfly on your finger The rose gold color really flatters the blue center stone too.

Glad you like it, I am happy I can finally try some new style when setting stones, and I really jump out of the box for this one, cauz I really need my rings to be extremely comfortable to wear, to the level that I simply don't feel it...Otherwise, it sits in my jewelry box. This one definitely isn't. Just have to convince myself that "you can wear it!"

It's custom made. I saved the inspiration photo 2 years ago. And asked my jeweler to make a similar one for me.

Do you mean the vendor of the stone? Or the jeweler?

I love all your rings! I can't pick out a favorite. I guess I'd try to wear them all at once.

Yeah, I got a new ring! Always love Leon Mege's moonstone flower ring, so when I saw these moonstones at Intergem I grabbed them!
Setting cost is almost 15 times higher than the stones, which isn't often to me. But the finish look made up for it
