Thank you everyone for your kind words! I am still very happy with my ring (and with my fiance, too!)
I took a few photos while I was bored at work the other day. They aren't great (I should have gotten out my macro lens!), but they're all right. The one with the side of the ring shows how I often see it-- I love how the side is just uninterrupted diamonds all the way up. I'll try to take some nicer photos when I have more free time!
Though you can see quite a bit of body color in the photos, it usually looks pretty colorless (it's a J). The lighting at my work brings out a lot of color, but everywhere else it rarely looks like a J at all.

A whole l'otter ring you have there! Actually the whole association of water and otters with this ring really suit it - in some of the photos the diamond looks like ripples of water. The setting looks perfect on your hand. I'm glad to hear everything is going swimmingly for you.

Well worth the wait. I cannot imagine any other setting that would make Octavia shine as much as the home you have given her. I know you went through more than you had to to find her a home and she looks great, like the star she should be! I love your photography and your closeup shots - she is one of those models that was born with it all so she has nothing to hide in those macro shots! Love her! And love your story; can't quite figure out how I missed it until now. Congratulations!
