Hi Morgie,

I saw your original thread and didn''t comment, because I thought that the photographer might have been saying *rough day* just because she had like 4-5 shoots and was tired. I honestly LOVE your photos. They are exactly what I would have wanted. I love the feel of them, the more artsy prints, ALL of it. But the important things is how you feel about it. It looks to me that this is the photographers style, so I suppose the only question is if you feel she is *your style*. But your look gorgeous and so are the pictures.

Thank you all! The more I look at the pics, the more I like them.

JSM - Great to see a fellow alum! What year did you graduate?

Meresal - Thanks for your feedback. We did actually tell our photographer that our biggest goal for our photos was to have a few artsy pics that we could have made into canvas gallery wraps for our house, which is a mix of modern and traditional. She did get some more personal feeling pics too, she just didn''t post those in her blog. Here are a few examples of those, taken from the slideshow so the quality isn''t as great.

Morgie another alum here! I lived right across the street from you, graduated in 07. Great photos! I especially like the El one.

Gorgeous photos. You have such beautiful eyes!

I think these photos are gorgeous!!! I''d probably be willing to deal with the snarky comments on twitter as long as she keeps delivering the product and isn''t rude in person.

I think they are beautiful, too!!!!

Love the photos Morgie!!! You look adorable together.

Gosh, makes me miss Chicago. My dad is from there and I''ve spend much time visiting in my life. Certainly my favorite place to go!

Amazing pictures! Very nice and you got a lot of different places and emotions in them!

Here are a few of my favorite pics from our engagement shoot. In light of my recently posted feelings about our photographer, I would love to know what you all think (honest please!)

Since you asked for honest opinions, I hope it''s okay to be so honest as to say I''m not too crazy about your photographer''s final product for a few specific reasons.

For one, you are STUNNING in your camera-high shot, yet the overwhelming majority of shots your photographer posted (and took?) are camera-low. Few people look good with camera-low-- I''m shaking my head and asking myself why did she take so many that way?

Secondly, it seems the lighting/exposure is off.

And third, your other thread made mention about how little guidance your photographer gave; it''s no wonder that your fiance''s body language looks so uncomfortable. If your fiance is notoriously uncomfortable taking photos, your photographer''s personality style is working against you, not with you. A better match would be an outgoing, friendly/funny photographer with whom your fiance clicks with, preferably one who also can get him to laugh. You know, so on your wedding day he forgets to be tense around a camera.

She is certainly talented, as there really is a wide range of photography styles here. I really like them! Especially the one at the El! Like, f-d-l, I do think she is a little too into overexposure, but it really works with her style. And, if it was overcast, she could have just been overcompensating to make sure there was enough light. And, given that you even said you are liking them more every time you look at them, you should stick with her for your wedding!

Thanks for the feedback and compliments everyone!

FDL - Thanks for your honesty, I appreciate it! I do see what you are saying about her shooting up, instead of downwards. It is something to consider... As for the overexposure look, maybe I am a wierd-o but I like the look of those! To me they are sort of artsy or vintage-y. I think that I won''t want all of our wedding pictures to look like that though, so that is something I am definitely going to discuss. Thanks!

Pug Lover - I was class of 07 too! I was in U Hall freshman and sophomore years. You?

Dreamgirl - I miss living in Chicago too! While not as far as I am guessing you are, After school, I moved back out to the burbs and I pretty much hate it!

I think they look great and you are a beautiful couple!

I actually really like them. Did you not care for your photographer?? (sorry, I missed the thread...)

I graduated in 2004 - so I'm an oldie.

I also really miss Chicago, those four years were amazing.

I really like some of the new pics you posted! My favorite is when he is looking down at you, and you are looking back! The close up of your faces (new #3) is also a really sweet photo.

I love your pictures and how you incorporated parts of the city that you love and mean a lot to you!
