Hi Girls - We''ve decided to set our wedding date - Oct. 2007
Location-Casa Loma, Toronto – it’s so lovely! The gardens are also breathtaking...even during the month of October.
I love the inside just as much, which is perfect, since it will most likely rain. The inside is warm, romantic and special.

The ceremony will be in the conservatory and the reception will be in the Library. The anti-pasta/appetizers will be in the Grand Entrance Hall.

Please note: The pictures are not from our wedding but it''s a sneak peek of what to expect. I''m so excited!

The following pictures were taken by Boston Avenue

Wow! That location is amazing!

Oh it''s gorgeous!!!!

And what a beautiful month to get married as well,

We''re actually neighbors across the Lake (ontario)- I''m in Rochester NY and adore Toronto-

Try to get there every chance we can.

Congrats!

Beautiful!!!! That looks like a dream location! Congrats!!!

THE DRESS:

I was going to order the Ines Di Santa dress but after visiting an Anne Barge Trunk Show and meeting Anne Barge in person I decided that this is the perfect dress for me. Anne Barge was so sweet, totally so not a designer snob! - She''s a darling person and a talented hard worker. I actually felt bad for her because you could see that she was tired and over worked.
Not only was she attentive and open to new design ideas but she ran up and down the stairs to find the perfect dress for me - I felt like a princess. It''s so nice to go to one of her Trunk Shows...

She is also short, 5ft,2, so she mentioned to me that she created a few gowns for short gals like me to create height. The dress is so beautiful in person. The pictures are blaaaaaa...it''s so lovely in person.

I took a picture of Anne Barge with the dress - we were giggling like school girls because we both did not sleep the night before (I''m a workaholic) and was embarrassed to take pictures with the dress.

This is Anne Barge - I would recommend going to one of her trunk shows.

Ries, your gown and the location are both perfect!!! Is the conservatory the wedding location that''s shown in the photos? The one with the fountain location in the background? It''s gorgeous!
