Paging old cut experts

What shape is this old cut? Is it cushion or is the setting deceiving me? Also, does it look dark?

It looks much like mine, which is (on GIA paper) a modified cushion brilliant. a little dark in the middle.

The setting could be part of the issue, but the stone doesn't look particularly lively.

Did some photoshop to trace the shape. It has a very puffy crown which I love. I also love the shape. I just do not know how it performs.
