Re: Paraiba sea glow and french cut waves - my Leon Mege rin
So awesome!!! Now we need pics of your 2 beauties together. Would be interested on your thoughts re: the two different settings and different French cuts
Love it!!!
Re: Paraiba sea glow and french cut waves - my Leon Mege rin
I'm glad to hear you will be wearing your two rings together - I think this ring would only enhance your OEC. The colour! You won't only brighten your own day, you'll brighten everyone elses too. It looks beautiful on you.
Re: Paraiba sea glow and french cut waves - my Leon Mege rin
This is about the tenth time I've come back to stare at this ring. I could look at it all day; can't imagine how I'd be if I had this beauty on my own hand. Lucky girl!!!!!
Re: Paraiba sea glow and french cut waves - my Leon Mege rin
That's the first thing I thought of too, that thing GLOWS!! It's like some crazy radioactive space rock! (In the best way of course . Kind of reminds me of the tesseract in avengers. Congratulations!! Of course that setting is TDF. How awesome to get to stare at that on your hand all day long.
Re: Paraiba sea glow and french cut waves - my Leon Mege rin
It is just breathtaking Acinom! The color of that stone is unreal, so vibrant and glowing! And of course the setting is just amazing - what a gorgeous ring, absolutely mesmerizing! Congrats on owning such a beauty!
Re: Paraiba sea glow and french cut waves - my Leon Mege rin
Wow! It's such fun being in different time zones. When I looked just now I saw all your sweet comments. Thank you!!! Will give a detailed response later.
I am so thrilled about the ring. Last night the ring looked a glowing green in low light and indoors:
Re: Paraiba sea glow and french cut waves - my Leon Mege rin
Thank you dk, smores, canuk-gal, mccaudi, and sox for liking the colour. I could not have imagined that the colour would have been so special in real life. The 'fake' Paraiba glow is a unique phenomenom.
gemtastic: will try to make a family shot later today. Actually the regular french cuts in my Sophia setting with OEC are much more apparant compared to the much smaller frenchies in the Paraiba ring. Both versions of the frenchies are stunning but it is dufficult to compare. I had actually expected the rings to look quite similar but they do not!
asscherhalo lover wow! To even get the compliments of your husband. Thank you!!!
arkieb: I indeed love it much better in real life compared to the vendor pics. The stone is so lively.
makingthegrade: yes! The glow is so weird. Rafioactive is the word!!
polished: thank you for your sweet words!!! I had not expected that the rings could so easily been combined. I am glad I can.
derbygal: thanks!!! I can indeed hardly believe it myself. I took a great risk but it is absoluty worth it.
lljsmom heh, heh, I must say I get fairly distracted. So I keep telling myself it's only a ring
junebug: you are so sweet! I consider myself a lucky girl. Especially since Paraibas are not for grab here in Europe (and in the US it's also hard to find a faceted Paraiba. I also saw some nice cabs. Perhaps for a next project
brightice: you cannot imagine how relieved I am. I figured that Leon and Perry would not source an extremely ugly stone, but it's a risk nonetheless. Now I can sit back and relax and wait for the big reveal of your beauty...
dorothea: thank you!! You must be mesmerized by your new little darling too! I love yours
Re: Paraiba sea glow and french cut waves - my Leon Mege rin
Oh wow.. it's truly stunning!
The rich color of the stone and the intricate setting.. love the prongs.
Congrats.. it's a beauty!!! May you always wear it in good health and happy times!
Re: Paraiba sea glow and french cut waves - my Leon Mege rin
alene, nyquestioner, lknvrb4: every time I look at the ring It reminds me of the Caribbean and the Caribbean sea! So yes, I enjoy it immensely. And it potentially saves me expensive plain tickets from Europe to Dutch Antilles
rubies-r-me: the prongs are really delicate and tiny. I love them, but I am also afraid to damage them. They look sturdy enough though.
badabling: unreal is the word... It truly surprises me every time I look at it.
arkieb: mmm, you do not seem to appreciate my highly artistic pictures with the latest and the greatest of all camera's? I almost reported you but I like you too much
Gemtastic and Arkieb, here are some comparison shots:
