I had started the wedding planning thinking, "Oh no! I only have 6-7 months to plan!" But, in less than a month''s time, we''ve made our announcements, I''ve booked the venue, the caterer, the photographer, the florist, and the DJ. My dress has been purchased, as well as the bridesmaids.

The venue is the Headlands Center for the Arts in Sausalito, CA. It''s an old army barracks that has been converted into an artist''s studio/retreat, and was renovated by some big name artists. It''s about a minute away from Rodeo Beach (hmmm...prime picture taking location...?). The dress is Watters 1048B. I''m thinking of having covered buttons added to the back. The bridesmaid dresses are BCBG, bought marked way, way down from Bloomingdale''s. Those flowers are just the inspiration pic, but we''ll have a similar, albeit looser, more garden style feel going on.

Yes. I contacted a seamstress with great reviews on Yelp & Project Wedding, and she quoted me $.40/button just to cover the zipper, or roughly $50 with functioning loops, inclusive of labor and material. I''m in the Bay Area (not sure if that would affect cost...).

that dress! The BCBG ones are sooo perfect for the garden feeling you want to evoke, and the bright arrangements really pop.

I also really like the hairstyle on the bottom right - gorgeous!
