Pave split shank sapphire ring

This ring is so beautiful, I know words won't do it justice! I just bought it and my jeweler won't size it from it's current 5 to my necessary 9. He'd be happy to up it about 2 sizes, but a 9 would cause it to lose all proportion.

The stone measure 5.5 x 7mm. I don't know carat weight since I bought it second hand. First owner bought it from Tan at Odyssey Gemstones. He's very reputable seller. Stone is asssumed to be heated, but no other treatment. It has a beautiful emerald cut that perfectly shows the medium ceylon blue color.

It is mounted in an amazing pave, split prong, halo setting. The melee is beautiful, and the jeweler set it with the greatest claw prongs I've seen this side of Leon Mege. It is marked as 14k white gold.

I'm selling it for exactly what I paid, $475. I will ship insured with delivery confirmation within the US. Please ask questions. Sale will be final.

awww, you guys are too nice!!! I will definitely be posting pics as soon as I get it - i'm having it delivered to work so I don't even have to wait to go to the post office! I love blue stones and this will be a nice complement to my darker sapphire 3-stone.

I do think this was LTP's former ring, so I feel particularly excited about this purchase since she has such beautiful taste! I gotta stop, though...as happybear said, this place is awful for my wallet! I'll have to make a post of all the rings i've bought in the past few months.
