Pearl Bracelet

Hi All,
My brother wants me to source a Tahitian pearl bracelet for his wife for xmas. He specifically does not want a plain pearl bracelet. He wants ''something else going on'' in it too. I am going to suggest these two from PearlOutlet

hmmm, I think the biggest thing that sticks out for me is the white gold vs yellow- which color does she like better. I''m drawn to the bracelet with white gold because I wear it more often, so my reply is biased.

As for the quality, I have never purchased from them first hand, but several people on this forum have said that they are great to deal with if you have questions and that their pieces are very nice.


Is he stuck on getting her Tahitians? Some ladies have gotten the new ''exotic'' (metallic luster) strands from Pearl Paradise and have said they are unlike anything they''ve seen

. hearing their responses to them almost makes me want to jump the bandwagon and purchase a strand myself

Pearl Paradise has some beautiful tahitian bracelets. I believe some of them are baroques...

I have a strand of the exotics and I love them! They go with so many things... I wish I could take a good picture but they are all coming out horrible. There is a separate thread on the exotics that has good photos.

ETA: I like bracelet 2 but like kas, I have a bias as I tend to wear more yellow gold than white.

Thanks both. I ordered the second one with white gold instead of yellow gold. John at TPO has been so wonderful and patient (I asked a hundred questions, and requested more photos more than once). So far dealing with TPO has been great. I will post a photo when the pearls arrive.
I am so glad I did this for my bother *polishing halo*. He was going to buy a similar black pearl bracelet from our local jewelery shop (price $1250). I told him to ask whether they were Tahitian or fresh waters. They were fresh water pearls (so color treated). I thought that price was crazy given they were nt Tahitians. Here is hoping that he likes this bracelet.

I love them both, but especially the first one. Good thing he didn''t shell out that kind of money for treated freshwaters!
