Pears fan-club

I want... detachable pear drops to add on to my (future haha) diamond RB studs. Wouldnt that be lovely?
 
Loving everyone pears!!

This is my new to me pear, just set today! I absolutely adore her. Pear is just a delicate, flattering shape :love:

Center is a 0.9, J, VS2, in a slight split halo setting, approx 0.32ct in the halo. Metal is 14k unplated white gold. Ring size 6. Setting is by a lovely Etsy seller - Qrystal Jewelry. Thanks for letting me share

@Alex T Thank you! I really love how it turned out :) I am enjoying wearing it without a band now but I tried it with a band I have around and it looks good as well.. hoping to get one made with unplated gold as well so it matches the ring. The design allows the band to tuck slightly below the split band.

When I was having the setting made I purchased a used Victor Canera engraved band that was a size 6.5. It was a perfect fit. So ordered the custom setting as a 6.5 and it's too big for my left but fits my right hand. I just haven't gotten around to resizing it yet. But then, do I really want to wear it next to the VC band and rub that delicate handwork?
 
That's such a pretty setting! I love that it's a heart shape! That's an unusual take on a setting for a pear! What a great idea! Enjoy it and thanks for sharing that beauty! I'm so glad that pears are "back"! I've always loved them! <3

Wow! This came out absolutely stunning an elegant! I'm normally not a fan,
pace fan, but this one looks so classic!

Would you mind elaborating on your experience with Qrystal Jewelry? Was this a custom setting or one of their standard semi-mounts? Any quality concerns?

Thanks so much for the kind compliments! I am enjoying this ring so much.

I think working with Selurita from Qrystal Jewelry was very easy. She is very responsive, and can work with design inspirations, and your requirements, and can provide a quote very quickly. This ring was a custom order to fit my pear dimensions perfectly. She was able to clearly put my ideas into the design, and shared them as CAD images. I also had some request for adjustment, and she quickly sent the updated CADs for my approval. For a custom project, the response, turnaround time, and shipping were all great.

The ring itself, in my opinion is well made. All the stones are high quality and sparkles so well. The pave work was great, but I can still feel it on my skin when it rubs (maybe all paves have this effect, I'm just used to my smooth channel wedding set)

I hope this helps! If you are curious, I would suggest sending an initial inquiry to Sel, and see if she might be able to do something you like. :)

My 1.10ct L/VS1 pear. Set in Rose Gold with a Platinum undergallery. 9.2mm x 5.7mm on a size 5 finger. I love the warmth. It reminds me of champagne :love:

I've love pears as long as I can remember so I'm a very happy woman :kiss2:
 
@ABKIS, what lovely proportions your pear has. I would never guess that it is an L color!
