Ahhh! I''m still in shock! I almost fell over when I saw that photo. How funny that you posted right after I did, and you''re right, that''s my back in the photo! Too cool!!

Am I right that you took a lot of their wedding pics, or am I confusing you with someone else? If it was you, you did a fantastic job. And I love Jen, she''s so awesome.

This is hilarious you guys!!! Small world indeed!!!

Alas, I can''t take credit... Heather is the photographer... she does it for a living, so she better be good at it! She''s fantastic and she stepped up when she got there and realized Jen hadn''t bothered with an official photographer. I have one of her cds and was very impressed. She took the one I posted too. And yes, Jen is awesome! And so is Dan! They''re so perfect for each other!

I''m still cracking up about this! Wow!

WOW, that''s unbelievable! Crazy crazy stuff!

Of course, I remember Heather now. They took a bit of a chance with not having a photographer, but it turned out fine, especially since her uncle was shooting too. Did you guys meet in college or HS?

That''s the way things are with Jen.... they always turn out fine... she''s so laid back about everything! I love that about her because I''m so not like that. We met freshman year in college, 1st week, in the dorm... we lived on the same floor. We bonded pretty quickly and have been best friends ever since. We moved to DC together, but she went back to Texas, abandoned me up here, but it was to meet your brother, so no harm done!

Nope, it''s the other way around. I think that''s why his parents like me so much, because I could pass as a Russian girl and my Dad always wanted me to marry a German (being straight from germany and all), so this is as close as it''s going to get!! lol

Selkie---

Coupes are a lot easier to come by, there was one around the corner from me for sale. Oh well, too bad, but I had to ask. I live in NJ, you, I presume live all the way over on the other side of the country. Yes, my bf had long hair before we met all the way down to his butt!!!!!!! One day he was under a car and rrriiiippppppp!!! that was the end of his hair, he had it all chopped off the next day. lol

mustang- too funny! i would have never guessed!

Wow! It is a small world, but I think this is a LIW first! Cool:)

Well, at least Mass. is a little closer to DC than Texas is, so hopefully you''ll be able to get together more often. I guess opposites attract with friends as well as SOs!

I''m in LA, but my parents live in Massachusetts. Yeah, you don''t see as many fastbacks, I guess. There are SOOO many nice-looking mustangs here in SoCal...no rust at all!

Wow, small world!

Rainbowtrout, I''m sorry that I didn''t reply to you sooner. I''ve been debating how much personal information I''m comfortable giving out. I go to Washington and Lee University and grew up in Northern VA. Does that sound like the person you''re thinking of? I''m trying to figure out where I could know you from...

Definitely!!! I was waiting for it to get warmer up there so I can pop up on the train and visit. I told my boyfriend about this coincidence and he was cracking up... he remembered you too!

Blenheim and Rainbowtrout.... you two could actually know each other!!!

Wow this is absolutely HILARIOUS! All thanks to my thread

*pat on back* j/k! But I am seriously shocked! Too too TOO FUNNY!

ETA: Mustang - I assumed as soon as I posted that it would be the case I was wrong! But hey I just went with stereotypes you know....

sparkles, sorry to hijack your thread there for a bit, but this is just amazing to me. And yes, it was thanks to your post!! It kind of makes you wonder how many other random connections are out there in the PS world.

And sum, how did you find Pricescope?

And sum, how did you find Pricescope?

It was either through craigslist or the knot, but I can''t remember which. I was looking at the wedding forums and people were getting snarky as usual and somebody said "I know a better place..." then I realized how much I could learn here and stuck around! It''s such a great helpful site... and very fun! And my boyfriend will be grateful when he saves thousands of dollars by not shopping where his friends did. :-)

Yeah, I am soooooooo amused that you guys know each other!!! Too cool!

But I also had a random PS connection...when we got engaged, I posted the story of our engagement ending with a picture of the two of us just after he proposed. One of my fiance''s closest friends was, unbeknownst to him, starting to look around for ring info for his girlfriend, and stumbled across PS, so he was reading all the proposal threads too to get ideas. So he was just reading along some random proposal thread and then at the end...SAW A PICTURE OF ONE OF HIS BEST FRIENDS!!! And my fiance was dumb too because it took him a week or two to tell all his friends that he had gotten engaged, so he hadn''t even gotten around to telling this friend yet, and he was really shocked when his friend was like "YOU GOT ENGAGED????" because he didn''t think any of their mutual friends had told him, but nope! It was from PS!

(Which is why I''m now paranoid about posting pictures of my wedding dress, which I sooooooooooooooooooo want to share with everyone, but I don''t want someone to randomly send the link to my fiance!!!

Ok. I'm risking it. I don't think my Fi wouldbee too happy with a pic of him on the net, but...

We were at a bar in NYC with a friend of ours a couple of months ago. I am the type to run from the camera (I'll hate the wedding day because of that!) because I don't like how a look in pics. When I smile I have big cheeks and I look like a dork. I was looking the other way when she called me and I turned. Mind you, this pic was after a few rounds.
NYT, I responded to your post but I don't see it now. I must have not hit submit. I just wanted to tell you something my Mamaw used to say. That child smiles with her whole face!! She used to say that about people with 'chipmunk cheeks'. And I bet you do 'smile with your whole face'
2.gif
And you have reason too. Your story is one of my altime fav's from PS. It's nice to see the couple behind the story. You two are an awsome couple. Can't wait for wedding pics.

Heh, I was HOPING that PS would help us save money, but really, all it did was whet my appetite for better quality (read: $$) jewelry! But it is a great site, and I love how supportive people are of each other.

Guess I am late to this thread, But what a nice one it is. Here is me and my hubby at a Nascar race.
We dont have many pics of us together. We rarely have a third party to take one. and I am bad/shy about asking people.
But I rounded up a couple.

I''m new to this cyber stuff. I''ll have to get my teenager to help me,

Moon river, I''m familiar with the phrase ''chipmunk cheeks''. My family is from the south and everyone''s baby pictures were described that way. Thank you for compliment! It''s been a rough road getting here.

Somewhere I have other pics of us together, must find them!
