SB- lunch would be great!!! But it would have to be AFTER the GTG as unfortunately I won't have the ring before! I'll post completed shots as soon as I have them

Thank you, bright ice- I agree that it is truly an heirloom piece!

Pandabee- Mike does set the bar very high, doesn't he?? His pieces are so intricate and, well, just "perfect". There is no comparison in the detail of Mike's orchid to the ones I have seen in Cartier. But Cartier's are mass produced where as each of Mike's jewels are a one of a kind handmade masterpiece taking weeks to make!! I understand Cartier also designs some higher end, one of a kind pieces, but I haven't seen any of them to comment on their quality.

Its magnificent.

I could not imagine waiting as long as you did for this ring! But it couldn't show off your diamond more perfectly.

Gorgeous!!!!! I love how delicate the petals look- so feminine and graceful! It takes a true artist for designs like this to work. I'm so thrilled Mike took on your pink diamond as this is just a masterpiece. You must be thrilled to pieces!

I will be in your area on friday if you have interest in doing Elaine Miller or just grabbing lunch. I'm trying to get a bunch of errands done before Vegas!

Mike Robinson is a true artist! I love the production process photos! The underside of the orchid leaves are seriously one of my favorite parts!

pinkjewel, that is one absolutely stunning RHR! Mike is a true artist and the care he takes in crafting each piece is more than evident in the final product! Pandabee- I am counting the days until I can put it on my finger-lol!!

thing2of2- I love the underside of the petals,too. They are a work of art themselves- I can't imagine using a tiny little saw to create that honeycomb pattern!

vc10um- So true that you tell a real artist by the little details. I wish I'd have it for the GTG,too... I'll just have to tape a picture to my finger!
