Hi everyone;
I was hoping to get your opinions on something. I am looking to find a pink stone in setting with diamonds around it for a necklace. I have looked a lil bit on line but did not find too much. It doesnt seem like a very special thing so I wouldnt think it would be too hard to find. But if I did have to go the custom route. Does anyone have ideas for a pink stone I could get in a princess cut? I would prefer one that isnt too expensive but it a bright pink. thanks so much.

Phil

I am not sure of price, but there are pinl sapphires, pinl tourmaline and also kunzite. I am not sure of the shade of each one of of the availability of cuts in each type of stone. Should be gorgeous!

you can go to www.multicolour.com and select ''pink'' from the search to get a listing of various hues that you can match to your liking.

can spinel be cut into that shape? It''s one of my favorite types of stones and it comes in some really nice shades of pink. I also like the pinks I''ve seen in tourmalines and of course sapphires.

I saw a really pretty pink stone on the link someone posted here. Do many jewelry stores mount stones in pendant settings? Are there any sites where I can see what I would expect to pay? thanks very much.

Phil

Try a pink or rubelite tourmaline - great colour, won''t break the bank.

pink spinel from namya is gorgeous

but no pink for me has come close the pink found in pezzottaite (pink beryl) it''s just too bad its so rare and expensive
