Platinum Double Claw Studs 3.76 tcw I/SI1

This is my first day off for a a while so I thought I would share with the forum. I have a deep love for diamond studs and while I do have one very large pair (a gift at @9.5mm and too large IMO for regular wear). I thought the studs I bought from WF and had set in six prong settings. I enjoyed them, but they weren’t quite right. Just a little too much. So in October of 2019 I reached out to Whiteflash and went a smidge smaller.

1.911 I/SI1 7.95mm

1.852 I/SI1 7.93mm



Whiteflash shipped the completed earrings to me in November and I have been meaning to post them ever since. (Can I get partial credit for posting them on isntagram?)

They are stunning. The prongs are perfection slim and delicate and forming minute double claw prongs.

Whiteflash did an amazing job on the settings, they are so simple you can barely even see them.

@MissGotRocks I think this was more of a mind clean sort of issue. I was feeling a little too LA, and that isnt really me. I wanted to get each stone under 2cts. Ive been feeling that for a bit my JA studs were 8.5, WF 8.3 now these just under 8mm. I live my life in scrubs, studs are classic but too much is too much even in a simple style.
I will post ear shots when I can grab someone to take one. Every time I try I end up with a shot of my hair.

This is the three stone ring. The 3.14ct sapphire was purchased from Marc Sarosi at Africa Gems and is 8.5mm, the ring used to be something else but was recycled for its current purpose. I think friendship rings are going to make a comeback.
You can see the two pieces compliment each other quite nicely.
