I just had my marquise diamond re-set from a bezel to a v claw setting. I love it, but it now sits very low, making fitting a wedding band flush a challenge.
I would really like to add some bling, with round brilliant cut diamonds. I definitely don't want a full eternity ring, but I am really at a loss as to a)the size stones I want b) the quantity. I like the idea of using a 1mm spacer band, and then adding a diamond band next to it, to combat the low setting issue, and to avoid rubbing. I've tried this on in a store, next to a very delicate (1-2 pointers) 1/2 eternity ring, and it looked lovely. But I think I want a more blingy look. What carat size would you recommend on a size 4.5-5 finger? Any ring suggestions? Thank you in advance
