especially with you sporting all of that new bling.

No more for a while, remember?

Trust me, a blinged out amazing charm bracelet is not something anyone is too old for...I have one and while right now I do not wear it a lot I do love it. I would not do juvenile charms, but stick with things that are elegant and substantial.

No Aaron Basha piggies, then?

EUUUWWW. No. But I am not a pig fan. I like the shoes, but unless you have kids those make no sense. I will look at some of the other ones.

They are just okay to me. Nothing amazing and likely overpriced, but the ones I would chose are the eggs, lock and key, lady bugs and hearts. The rest I am not enamored with, they are fine but I would not buy them.

Skippy,
Here you are.

DF,
I agree -- they are way overpriced.

harriet, speaking of the evil eye bracelets i think that a recent post of paris shows a red evil eye bracelet. it is in the celebrity bling thread.

I simply do not get the significance of one wearing jeweled pigs.

i would love to see a nice bracelet of some of the "mother" type charms. i think that young children would enjoy playing with "moma''s" bracelet at times when they needed to be quiet. also a grandmother could enjoy wearing such a bracelet when she is seeing her grandchildren and they would always associate the bracelet with her. there is a good variety of these charms to make an interesting bracelet. it would be an investment though.

Even more reason to not have one.

Neither do I, but they are cute.

That would be nice for you mothers and grandmothers out there.

Darn, I thought I''d come to a decision. But, I spoke with Etienne today, and he said the Starlight band wouldn''t look right unless it''s thick, and I''m not a fan of thick. 2 other possibilities:

1. WF''s thinnest shared prong bangle.
2. Cartier''s Baby Trinity chain.

Is their thinnest bangle the 1 ct? I like either of your choices.

Not sure of the pricing on either, but I doubt they come under the "few" hundred category!

It is.

Btw, the Baby Trinity is on a yellow gold chain. Will that clash with my platinum e-ring?

Hi Caroline (not DF or DS),
They are both under $1,000, and I can always exercise some creativity and discretion.

They are a regular bargain then!!!

Remember how DF put a moratorium on any jewellery spending above $1k? (Don't worry, I gave my word and will adhere to that.) Well, anyway, he called me on his way to work this morning and described a beautiful pair of earrings he saw on one of the Park Ave ladies. Gotta love a man who appreciates bling!

I don''t think so. You have to decide how sensitive you are to wearing different colors of metal at once. I think the trinity ring and necklace will tie it all together. I do love that bangle, though. It''s on my wish list...I''m afraid I''d need one custom made though.

No training required. He''s been urging me for years to spend money, but I haven''t because I am by nature frugal (ok, ok, laugh away). Now that we''re more comfortable ...

Many thanks for all your ideas. I've decided on the Trinity Baby chain. Even more rolling fun!
