Mark is still with a client....'tap-tap-tap'

Be patient my little chiquita banana! *YOU* will be the client he's with some day one of us is dying to get through, LOL!

Seriously, can wait to see how your ring comes out--how exciting!

all are beautiful and have elements that I like!

If it is for a stand alone ring, I personally wouldn''t take the solitaire.

I do love #2, but I would be inclined to get the matching w band,
and I think #1 would be perrrrrfect on it''s own!!!

If I were ever to own a round I would definately do it in a 3 stone like this, such a gorgeous, regal and classy look!!!

Of course it is your vote that matters most, but you know mine!

#1, #1, #1!!!!

Mark is really fab. he''s so funny...any-who...his going to talk to Leon this week to get the final numbers. Mark is like my own personal shopper bugging Leon...how cool. I''ll keep in touch by the end of the week to let you know what the final pick was. For now...I''ll stick with water and crackers because the 3 stone is my first love. LOL!

I just wanted to check-in and report...I''m GETTING ''THE Baby KDARLING'' 3 stone pear setting. YEAAAAH!
I spoke with Mark today and the setting was in our price range. He selected .32ct pear diamonds on each side for a total of .64cts. The center will be 2.6cts. The ring size will be size 6, Platinum. LEON created.

I''m soooo excited. The setting will be completed Sept. 20ish and I''m hoping to be the proud owner around Sept.29th...I promise to posts pics as soon as my sweetie propose! YEAAAH - I''m so excited! Thank you everyone for helping me decide on the setting. I''m giddy with pride!

How exciting Ries, can''t wait to see it. I know it will be spectacular!!!!

A ring like KD''s and Kaleigh''s ALL THE WAY. Especially if you are wearing it alone, it will be stunning in that size and I think it is so elegant and timeless. Not so plain as to be minimal, but not trendy so you tire of it quickly. Perfection.

Oh my goodness!!! That will be sooo perfect. Can''t wait for pics!!!!!

I can''t wait to see!!! That''s the ring I want too and my center stone is 2.33 carat so it will be nice to see a "baby" KirstyDarling ring that is closer to my size stone. :)

Thanks guys! I''m so excited - it''s hard to sleep!

Sorry, Ries, I was away on vacation and have been slowly getting caught up on all the PS threads!!!

YAY for choosing the 3-stone Leon!!! I can''t wait to see it! And, PLEASE, do not call it a "baby KD" anymore! If a 2.6 carat stone is a "baby" then we''re ALL in trouble here! Haha.

A 2.6 honker in that Leon setting would be undeniably perfect. I''m really glad you chose the Leon because it is a GREAT stand-alone e-ring. I rarely wear mine with a band as it really detracts from the look. Of your other two original choices, I probably woulda done the solitaire just because I''m not a huge fan of knife-edge with pave. However, solitaires tend to cry out for a companion band so #3 may not have worked so well as a stand-alone. So hands-down, #1 all the way! Not to mention that in my very biased opinion, it''s the prettiest of the 3 by far! I''m so glad you felt the same way!

Now, Mrssalvo and Cpster -- we need to get you two on board the Leon 3-stone train soon too!

I''m late to this thread, but I just wanted to say that was my favorite setting of the three and I can''t wait to see how it turns out. I''m sure it will be gorgeous since it''s a Leon.

WOW. Ries, so happy for you that you made a decision- can''t wait to see this ring, it will surely be a beauty!! I love the 3-stones, especially rounds with pear sides!!! And Leon is doing the setting? It will be nothing short of amazing!

I can''t wait to see this one.

It''s going to be amazing.
Having seen Kaleigh''s spectacular three stone w/ pears in person, this is one unbelievably stunning look.
You won''t be sorry!

Gonna be a beauty!!!! It''ll be hard to wait!!!! But I know it will be worth it.

yay ries...i hope the time goes by quickly for you. the setting is going to be fabulous...

Hi Girls - thank you for the happy posts - you guys are so sweet. I''m really excited!
It''s fun to think of my ring as the BABY KD - no one in the real world would understand the fun behind it - LOL! It''s plenty big for me - I''m 29 years old so I have the rest of my life to upgrade to a BIGGER SISTER diamond. Hopefully the upgrade bug will stay away for at least 10 more years....yeaah-right! LOL!

DANI - With the help of Mark T. who is bugging Leon as we speak, it will be another Leon masterpiece. I bought the 2.6ct diamond from Mark after eyeballing it for months. Mark mentioned that I did not have to call Leon directly because they work together all the time...plus, since they are friends he can get the setting made quicker. The setting is sceduled to be done for Sept.15 but Mark said it will be shipped around Sept.27th.

I was worried that the setting was too expensive for us since the setting price increased from $1500 to $1900 in the last month (darn, wish we called about the setting sooner) - it was $1900 for the setting alone plus the cost of side stones. Luckily Mark found a two side stones in our price range and the total cost of the setting was $2800.00 plus 3% credit card payment. It was a close call...

Kristy Darling: I must thank you for inspiring me - I could not have done it without your vision and beautiful pictures of your setting. I''ll always think of my ring as the baby KD - which is so fun! Kaleigh''s ring was also a HUGE inspiration. When I was a newbe Pricescope member I always saved her lovely 3 stone to my computer...zooming in and out of the picture drool-worthy!!!! I love Photoshop!

Funny how slow time will go by if you''re excited about something....my boyfriend already warned me that I''ll have to be a super good girl or else he''ll delay the proposal...bugger! Good thing I know our safe combination! ha ha ha

Just for fun...I''ve attached the 2.6 certificate.

ries that ring is going to be really lovely!!!! can''t wait til september. what size finger do you have?

Without finger lipo...I''m a size 6!

That''s great news! I LOVE that setting!!!
36.gif

woo hoo i''ll get to see the kristy baby special on a finger size similar to mine!!! even though your stone is bigger than mine, hehee. i love the 8.9mm diameter!

Wow - that is going to be absolutely beautiful - that stone looks like a knock out - I am normally a solitaire person, but I must say that that setting is really stunning - please post pics when you get it!

ooooh - I''m so excited - Mark T. called and said it''s done and he said it''s beautiful!!!! Now I only have to wait 2 more weeks and hopefully I''ll also have a shining lovely diamond ring! I cannot wait to be engaged. Yeeeah!

OMG Ries......HOW DID I LOSE TRACK OF THIS THREAD?????????
23.gif

I voted long ago for the three-stone, then lost track of it!

I'm SO THRILLED for you!!!!!
36.gif
It was the wonderful balance, delicacy and workmanship of KD's ring (along with a nudge from Mara) that inspired me to remount my stone with Leon. If I had an RB that is the EXACT mounting I'd choose for it. I love the pinched "Asprey" sides....

Now then...YOU BE A GOOD GIRL
2.gif
so the proposal comes soon!

Can't wait to see it!!!!!!

I somehow missed this the first time around, but I just LOVE that Leon with the side pears! You''re tempting me to think about that again, but I need to grow my stone a little!

Tell your BF to hurry up and propose because we are waiting for those hand-pics!!!

Thanks Girly-girls! I know, it''s driving me bananas. First thing I did this morning was make coffee for him with a big smile! Anything to get the bling! LOL! I really hope that Mark remembered to ask Leon for pictures. If not then it will be a long 2 weeks......

I like #2. I love baskets like that and I can''t have one hehehe really I just like #2 best of those.

I forgot to mention that this will be an engagement ring....I would like to wear the setting alone without a wedding band so I''m not concerned about the E-ring sitting flush with another band.
Thanks!
oh then DEFINITELY #2. It is the only ring with IMO stand alone power!

Ries, if the 3 stone is really what you want, and it ends up being too much, I would consider this: Get the X-Prong in WG, that won''t be terribly expensive. Then, you could save and in a year or two, get the 3 stone ring.
2.gif
yeah and this is terribly evil of me hehehe - but by then he''ll be your husband so he can pay for the pears :D
