@evergreen, love the faceting on display here, this is literally the perfect three stone. Who did the setting? I admit to zooming in to peep that milgrain.

This circular brilliant from @ForteKitty that GIA graded fair in symmetry might be the best performing old cut that I have. The facets are pretty crisp, turn on/off pleasingly, and when I look at it I understand the phrase that a diamond can "cut light."

i don't think it's perfectly cut, but i just love this stone. it's so bright and lively, with a perfect amount of chonk and wonk. i'm with @oldcutclubmember - i don't really need optical perfection for an OMC. it's more of a vibe, hah!

one day, i hope to have my "perfect" OEC - i would be more relentless about light return with an OEC. she's out there...somewhere...waiting for me to save my pennies and have a big enough anniversary to justify TWO engagement rings

I love the warmth of this diamond in the yellow gold, that sweet vanilla color is wow with the fire.

I predict old cuts will increase in value as they are one type of stone that is not a likely lab.

It was too late to edit my post - I don't like the wording I used, this diamond doesn't look wonky It's definitely my prettiest OEC.
