@elle_71125 Big blue is what I call my bigger zircon! My new smaller one I creatively call little blue. Other than here and now, I've never admitted to these monikers. But the conversation in my head:
hmm, should I wear big blue or little blue?

Ha, I love it!

Another Big Blue here! I’ve been calling my blue jadeite bangle that name since I got it years ago! Big because it is wide for a bangle.
@elle_71125 , can’t think of any good names, but your paraibas are beautiful.

Looks like Big Blue is a pretty popular name around here. I love it!

I haven't posted much, but really love to read everyone's stories and seeing their amazing gemstones and jewelry. I am going to try and contribute a bit more. I will start with my grayish/purplish star spinel that I named Merle. She has some dark freckles that remind me of the merle coat color of some dog breeds. I love her because she has such a beautiful star that is lively and not shy at all. Here I am waiting for a draw bridge to open last summer. I'm in my convertible with the top down and the sun out. She has a halo of diamonds and tanzanite to help bring out the purple.

Perfect name! Pretty ring!

My most diminutive ring is the only one I've really named, and that's my girl Agatha. I figured we still talk daily so it would get awkward otherwise.

Ive always avoided this thread but maybe its time to admit i sent Tinky and Queen Mary to the tip by mistake :cry2::doh: [obviously a mistake]
Tinky was multi synthetic orange sapphires in a pretty gold setting - orange in memory of the much loved ginge
Queen Mary was tanzanite in white gold which kinda made no sence because Her Late Majesty predated tazanite but it kind of reminded me of her style of hat as a dowerger queen

Once im back working full time im going to get a new Tinky ring made - maybe a scatter ring, my PS friends will have to help me find the orange stones

I think I'm going to go w/Bluebell! I like the name Azura too, but Bluebell also encapsulates its floral nature though. Maybe I should go w/a waves-themed blue sapphire ring next! :D

Bluebell is a lovely name for your beautiful ring!:appl:

I like this thread! Because I need a name for my large oec. But right now I have Viridis for my lovely tourmaline (photo taken during sunset so my hand it looks orange)

And Chippy for an oec that had a chip but I loved it anyway:

But I still don’t have a name for my 3.98 and “Diamond-y Too Big” which was my 6 year old’s preference- is not an option! Haha!

That’s too bad about the rings. My husband accidentally threw away his wedding ring. Luckily, I checked the trash again before putting it out. He already checked it once but missed it. I hope you are able to replace Tinky soon.

Haha, I do have names for some of my rings. Here they are:

"My precious" is shown in my avatar. I suppose this would be a common name in this forum.
