From a few days ago, This duck is standing on the ice in 60 degree weather. The ice is all gone now, but the temperature is close to freezing with rain on and off all day yesterday. ironically, it was the rain water running into the ditch that melted the ice much more quickly than the warmer temperatures.
Luna moth approximately 6 hours after newly hatching on our fence that early afternoon, probably still drying its wings here on our deck. Photo taken a week an a half ago. It’s probably gone now as their life span is about a week as their sole purpose is to reproduce.
