I'll add my 10-year upgrade! 5.01ct GIA L/VS1, HCA 1.6 (which surprised me because it has a low crown angle, but I guess the other proportions work with it!). Platinum custom setting with 72 tiny diamonds, each with 4 prongs. I adore my ring!

Someone may have already answered this, and if so I apologize, but most of the 3+ ct rings I see are Round Brilliant cuts. Is that because it is easier to cut than most others?
