Thanks, @tkyasx78 This is why I stretched to an F color, and fiddled around till I got exactly the design and proportions I wanted; this ring simply does not have a bad angle!

My new diamond is an R color, so I'm definitely swinging for the fences for color in both stones, and I'm very happy with how each of them looks. I love the range of colors in diamonds - what a wonderful thing nature is!

iluvshinythiings: while I know they are not exactly the same, I see in your diamond some things I love in my L AVR: in some views the floral petals, others the checkerboard, and still yet also that kaleidoscopic effect that is simply mesmerizing. It seems to me you chose a beautiful diamond with tons of personality! Beautiful!

I just purchased this old cut cushion. It really spoke to me and even though I wasn't in the market, I couldn't get it out of my head. I was worried about the color rating, but am so so so happy I took a chance. It faces up white most of the time, but won't lie...I'm equally enamored when it shows up champagne color as well. I'm still undecided if I will eventually turn it into a 3 stone, or leave as a solitaire.
