I am in love with some of the tiffany celebration rings (especially the legay band with alternating diamonds and pink sapphires, the jazz band and the swing band)
30.gif

Has anyone here one of these rings and would like to share a few pictures???

My dream band is the swing (shwing!). But no way am I gonna pay $3,600.

I''ve got 1 channel-set, 1 bead set (sorta channel) and 1 prong set.

Diamond Seeker has the legacy (see avatar) but no sapphires. I love her band.
emlove.gif

Didn''t post pics since they weren''t what you wanted to see.

I also love the novo band and the bezel-set bubble.

Ahhhh....*sigh* bands, bands, bands.

"Didn''t post pics since they weren''t what you wanted to see" (I don''t know how to highlight text in a quote....)
That''s not true - please show me your bands!!!

yeah, I know... $ 3,600 is a bit much... if it wasn''t I would be already posting pics of that beauty instead of dreaming about it...

I have to agree that they are all devine but pricey!!!! You are definately paying for a beautiful design, and personally I would be scared to get one made up. For now I dont mind getting pleasure from the photos here at PS!!!!
30.gif

If this new lemming doesnt pass, I will have to think of ways of justifying the cost. I suppose the real value of the diamonds is pretty low, and the price is mainly brand and beautiful design!!!!! Mind you, if it lasts 10 or 20 years, it is money well spent!!!!!

Don''t have one
7.gif
yet...I thought of getting the channel set square diamond band, but it is pricey for a small ring.....even as a wedding band.

I saw your beautiful e-ring on your avatar and did a search on your name: I found your poll about your wedding ring. I would definitely take the channel set eternity ring!!! it matches your e-ring so well
30.gif
is your e-ring from tiffany as well?
I agree that the celebration rings are extremely overpriced and that the value of the diamonds and the plat is much lower than the price. That is my reason why I still don''t have bought one for myself. But for a wedding ring I would definitely choose the best you can get and the one that you fell in love with!!! You are going to wear it for the rest of your life and it''s a symbol of love, therefore you should go for the tiffany''s that you like. You''ll forget about the money you have spent very soon (believe me, I''m talking from experience
2.gif
) but you''ll be happy every time you look down on your hand... I think that''s worth it, isn''t it?

Thanks lisa & staci - your rings are stunning!!!

Any more celebration rings out there???

just the one band here - 2.2mm shared setting half circle ring

I was planning on getting the channel set band but changed my mind last minute. Husband said the shared prong one looked better with my e-ring

thanks kathy, your set is beautiful! maybe you could convince your hubby to add the other band to your set in the future
20.gif

so, I decided which celebration rings are on my wish list now:
To begin with I would love to get the jazz band. inspired by you, UCLABelle, I looked at the square diamond channel set band and fell in love
30.gif
. And finally I am still dreaming of the sweetest and most delicate legacy diamond and sapphire band...

Thanks. This band would match your wedding set too! You should show it to your hubby, maybe he likes it!

My BF only thinks that tiffany is terribly overpriced... so no hope for me there

wow, how do you do that!? does he ask you what''s on your wishlist? or how do you communicate your wishes to him? maybe you have an advice to me...
12.gif
sometimes I am trying to give him hints about what I would really love to get ("oooh, you have to look at this ring on the website, it''s really lovely and it would match my other rings so nicely... ooh, I absolutely fell in love with this one...
20.gif
") - but at least till now it did not work

He''s usually sitting beside me as I browse the website. We both have pretty similar taste and if we come across stuff that we both like he sometimes says ''we''ll get that for you one day'' :)

Just be patient with your guy.. he might surprise you one day, just like how mine did
9.gif
I had always liked T&Co but never expected it so it was a very nice surprise when he took me shopping for my e-ring

Hey MsDreamy read the thread in RT - the parts about the pricing. There are many subplots going on there!

Perhaps your BF will change his mind?

so sweet! yeah, he says that sometimes too: "one day, when I''ll make money again, I''ll buy you all these beautiful things" (we are both at university at the moment - so money is still a topic - but it sure won''t be after that...
2.gif
)

Lisa: thanks for the info! well, I think it is overpriced, BUT some of their pieces are so nice - so even if I''d pay a bit (or a lot) too much, at the end of the day I''ll love the ring and forget about the price!

Ms.Dreamy- SO GLAD I COULD INSPIRE YOU!

Here are some more celebration rings. The tiffany swing band, .56 shared prong, channel/bead set band on the left.
On the right, knife edge band, 2 mm. lucida, Elsa Peretti diamond band 2.5 mm., and 3mm. lucida, my true wedding band.

Hi butterfly I am guessing you are talking about the swing ring on ebay?

It''s gone!!!

Bought BIN from somebody.

I still think you can get it for less.....

Here's my shared prong ring on it's own. For reference I wear size 6/6.25

(sorry it's a little bit off center)
