My Cartier ring.

and of course Bubbalah as she is now. In a 1950s (I was told) halo. Still shot taken from a video.

I could stare at Bubbalah all day, too......

So much gorgeousness in this thread. I'm loving everything posted.

I frankly don't know how all you lovely Pricescope ladies ever get anything done - I'm quite sure if I had any rings like yours I would spend every waking moment slouched in a corner with a fixed stare at my hand and little bead of drool running down my chin.

I'll just post my most recent ones, all by CVB (Caysie).

Queenie's twin Casablanca with a 2.1 ct O AVR, a lavender sapphire halo, and a Y-Z AVC in a baby OEC halo.

OK, I NEED a warm old cut in a white halo now......

Hold the phone... Is this new?? This is delicious, and I can't recall it! A new project, @Catmom?

Thanks but not new. I've had it for a long time. I also have a matching pendant. :P2

Love this thread and all of the gorgeous rings shown! 99.9999999% of my rings are haloed rings, lol. Here are my diamond rings...

So pretty! Love that blue color. And what a perfect match for your ring.

I forgot about my princess! I don’t recall any of the specs. I bought this in a B&M store in a small Alabama town back in 2009, way back before I knew anything about diamonds.

I love halos. These are the ones I wear most. Top is a SimonG setting 2.2ct D SI1. The fancy yellow diamond 3.2ct VVS1 and paraiba cabachon settings (also in avatar) are by Leon Mege. Paraiba setting below from Etsy.

These are my halo’s. I have to say, I love the DBL version of my ring!! That color is dreamy!

Two of my very favorite rings!:kiss2: From one of my very favorite PSers.:wavey:

Here's mine! 3.14 ct cushion (I color) in hand-forged halo setting by BE. My finger/knuckle size grew over the last few months from 3.5 to 4.25, despite no weight gain. (Weather has been cool so it's not heat puffing. Gotta love aging!)

I enjoy this ring but sometimes grow tired of the halo. I've been toying with the idea of taking it out of the halo and putting it in a milgrained bezel, with my pear side stones also in bezels (.5ct each). Or, I might just make it a simple 3-stone without bezels, in yellow gold maybe.

@KristyDarling just wanted to come back here and say I am drooling all over your ring (again haha)...this is to me one of the prettiest halos around. So delicate and feminine and graceful and just a show stopper. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Of course if you are tired of it or bored of it there is no right or wrong but I wanted to chime in again with how much I LOVE your setting (and diamond of course!). :kiss2:

IMG_0553.JPG And this one is in the making. 8.26X8.26 strawberry garnet - antique cushion cut by Jeff White. Currently being set by CVB in a platinum halo. Size 6 for a right hand ring. Waiting patiently.........

OH MY @Queenie60 I can't wait to see how this version turns out... I LOVE my oval version!

Aww, Missy, thanks! This ring does still take my breath away, but since I got it my aesthetic has morphed while my ring has stayed the same...KWIM?? I find myself gravitating towards the Deco and Baroque halo styles that CvB is known for -- I just love the detailed metalwork of those styles! My dream is to save up enough to work with Caysie on a design for my cushion! :kiss2:

I've always wanted a halo ring, and finally got one, and am so happy with it. The center is a round diamond and after going back and forth between round halo and cushion halo, I finally decided to go cushion. I inherited the diamond, but the setting was made by Maytal Hannah. It was hand forged, so even though it looks fine and delicate, it is actually strong. Here are some photos I took, but it is much prettier in person.
Here is a video, I think it's my ring.

What constitutes a halo? Does it have to be the same design all of the way around? Do the stones have to be symmetrical?

My pear is being reset into an intricate frame design that goes all the way around, but the stones that will surround it vary in type and size. I’m not sure it would be considered a halo or what I should call it.

What you're describing would be a halo in my book. "Frame" is a perfect way to describe that type of halo (which I personally love!).

Here's my Victor Canera CER Emilya I VS2 (single cut melee) in Platinum. Finger size is 4.

Kuriso, how large is your center stone? The proportions are very nice on your finger. :)

Aw, thank you so much! The CER is 1.5 carats , my ring size is 4 but the ring itself is 4.5 so its a tad loose on me but I figure during summer, my fingers may swell but thats if we get any sun in Bay Area...haha..
