So I did it again. A strand went up on FF and I couldn't resist. Ordered it a few minutes ago. Earlier tonight I ordered one Sea of Cortez pearl too!

I was originally going to get a tension set right hand ring this year but with sooo many beautiful pearls, am spending my budget on strands instead.. Oh well.. don't really need another ring

These are 8.8x11.8 with most being about 9.5. link I ordered my other strand in 17inches, this one's gonna be 18inches. I also have an emerald green baroque strand from PP. Think they'll look very interesting worn together.

So, I can be grateful that you removed temptation. (Because I''m having a hard enough time deciding what to put on my neck in the AM as it is.) But mmm. Those colors! And the lustre. And they''re round. It''s really gorgeous.

There''s one more I''m considering on the more costly side but want to see these in real life first. Elana does have some gorgeous things.. sigh.. ahh well.. i''m content- for now

On another note, I also ordered a Sea of Cortez pearl. InnerKitten introduced me to them last year and I've been finding out everything I can about them since then. i'm comtemplating a baroque strand (they don't have many options as they have very small harvests, and something like 1 round strand a year). Their orient is outstanding and they remind me of silk. Nothing I've seen before. At least from the pics I've seen. But before I commit, i need to get a feel for these pearls in person.

They do, don''t they CCL! But, I changed the strand a bit and added a few larger peacocks in the middle. Can not wait to see both strands.

one round strand a year.. that''s all they make and use the best pearls.. sigh.. the baroque strand i''m considering is a very pastel color. silver with blues and pinks but the colors change depending on the lighting.. so beautiful..
